Sorry, I didn't understand the phrase "whole wheat hosts" listed in the "new threads" so I had to come by to find out.

The matter of making whole wheat hosts seems to be an unnecessary thing since taking a non-whole wheat "host" is supposed to be sufficient for one's needs.

My own opinion is that since whole wheat is more nourishing, it is more suitable to make the bread that becomes the Body of Christ.

And since in the Byzantine tradition, we use leavened bread, it always has to be chewed.
