Social justice is...
a misunderstanding of the Bible's word for righteousness. The Roman Catholic Bible sometimes mistakenly translates righteousness as justice. I firmly believe this is an unfortunate misunderstanding that has been exploited by those who care about too much about politics and not enough about clean living and personal holiness in my opinion.
For those of us who take God's Word very seriously, we need both justice and righteousness. Even more that justice, we need mercy. If God were to deal with us all with justice, then none of us would remain alive!
You can discount much of what you read or hear about so-called "social justice". It has been my experience that a lot of "social justice" rhetoric is just another name for leftwing liberal politics. I say study your Bible and you will not be taken in by fads in religion... especially by leftwing politicians using liberal mainline churches for their own agenda.
