So I have noticed that a LOT of people who were pregnant when i was....are pregnant again! Why can't I be?

Not to be a debbie downer... but a lot of people who were TTC the same time DH and I started TTC are getting pg with their 2nd one... DH and I are STILL TTC the first

Seriously though, remember the average time to conceive is 6mos to 1 year. Praying you get your BFP soon.

I doubt that she isn't thankful for the child she has. I have a friend suffering secondary infertility, and it hurts just as much as primary. My friend feels guilty for wanting another child when she knows some (me) that haven't even had one - I tell her that she has NOTHING to be guilty about - she just wants another baby.

I understand & I know she is but I mean sometimes we need to step back & think about what we have & not dwell on what we don't especially if we already have one of something we already have. I personally would not be saying something to soemone who has not had the gift of a little life given to them. And about how I was soooo wanting to be pregnant again. Something about it doesn't sit well with me. And I know there are ladies on here that are in those situations just as yourself.

I felt the same way when all those ladies announced their pregnancies! I was pregnant with them with my first and now they are all pregnant again. It is hard. I feel like I should be pregnant with my second baby now, not still hoping for my first live birth. It must be hard to see their pregnancies develop, reminding you of the one you lost so recently.

Urgh! I'm kinda glad I'm not trying at the moment. It's so hard to deal with all the emotions that come along with it.

Jessesgirl, here's hoping that you'll be back over in the pregnancy forum asap.

Thanks girls! I guess I am really just more down than I should be. I am definitely thankful for Justin...he is my little miracle...but Jesse and I have always wanted a huge family...and we are so ready in our hearts for another baby. I feel terrible saying it when there are TTCers who haven't ever experienced it once. I loooooovee my baby boy...I do, really. Please don't think I don't. I just have so much love in my heart...so much love to give to another baby and no hopes of aving one anytime in the near future. Maybe I should have just not said anything...I didn't mean to offend anyone...just feeling sorry for myself, I guess.

Why do you feel that you have no hope of having one in the near future?

You are still quite young - so you have plenty of years ahead of you to have many children.

Because I was just told that they are 99% sure I won't be able to have any more. After they treat the cervical cancer and get that completely taken care of, they are going to do the tests to be sure. I was told by 3 dfferent dr's that I would never have Justin...so I know God is bigger than all that...it still just makes me sad seeing all these people around me pregnant...and with all that is going on, the thought of me not being able to have anymore little ones is just devastating to me. I am not trying to be ungrateful...it is just how I feel.

I'm so sorry you are going through this!! It is completely understandable that you feel that way... I am still trying for my first - but at least I haven't been told that it is impossible. Although, my aunt went through a similar situation. She lost so many - and they told her NOT to even try - that she probably wouldn't make it through another one. She ended up pg anyway and now my cousin is a healthy, happy 8 year old and my aunt is fine too.
I think your positive outlook is the best thing for you! Of course - God can do anything!! So even though the doctors are telling you no, don't give up hope! It sounds like your faith is much, much stronger than their diagnosis. I will say a prayer for you!!

There is always adoption as well. I mean if ya have that much love for children. And like you said God is bigger than docs!
