If you have not stopped the snow yet, there is a way, when leaves were falling my CF friend told me what to do.
1. Click on your name, right top
2. Look down and to the right now and click on preferences
3. Scroll down a bit to current options
4. Click on disable holiday styling

There's a way you can turn it off, there's another thread in this area that will give you the instructions. I like it so I don't remember it lol.
It doesn't work. I tried to stop it. No one can stop it for me.

It doesn't work. I tried to stop it. No one can stop it for me.

I had a similar problem a while back.

One of the mods suggested I try turning it off using a different device. It worked. I used a tablet and when I re-opened CF on my PC the snow had gone.

Before trying a different device make sure you're using the right process - don't forget to 'Save'.

This is the turn off process:
1. Click on your avatar's name (top right of this page)
2, Click on this icon

3. Click on 'Preferences'
4. Scroll down and click on 'Disable Holiday Styling'
5
Go down to 'Save' at the bottom of the dialog box and click

Thank you so much! I read musicalpilgrim's message and tried again and it finally worked a few minutes ago. I can't tell you how relieved I am!

They told me it works for others to stop the snow. I've tried and tried. :( Has anyone succeeded?

Stupid question but have you remembered to click on save or submit after clicking the check box?
