The Lord rebuked the apostles for hardening their heart
by not receiving the report of the Resurrection.

Mark 16:
9
Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first
to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.
10 She went and told those who had been with Him,
as they mourned and wept.
11 And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her,
they did not believe.
12
After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked
and went into the country.
13 And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.
14
Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked
their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those
who had seen Him after He had risen.

Slow Of Heart To Believe
Luke 24:
25
Then He said to them, O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all
that the prophets have spoken!
26
Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the
Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

36 Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them,
and said to them, Peace be with you.
37 But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit.
38 And He said to them, Why are you troubled?
And why do doubts arise in your hearts?

39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit
does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.

40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.
41 But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them,
Have you any food here?
42 So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.
43 And He took it and ate in their presence.
44 Then He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still
with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and
the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.

45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
46 Then He said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for Christ to
suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day.

What You Believe In Your Heart
Romans 10:
9
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your
heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.
