Slain in the spirit and binding satan, ~where are they in scripture?

These are two terms I hear often from charismatic friends, I am not even sure what they mean...If someone could point out where they are in the bible i would love to study this.
That is of course assuming it's scriptural...Though i'm not so sure from all i've read of His word.

I've only heard of binding spirits in the occult.

I used to be in the Pentecostal for 20 years, no one has yet succeeded in slaying me in the spirit.

I've actually been in a prayer circle and one of the prayers said we bind you satan in the name of jesus..

i wondered what she thought she was doing.

I'm sure she thought of herself as a disciple & was exercising the power of binding & loosing given to all the disciples present in Matt 18:18.

Yeah, a little over a dozen yrs among charismatics and I remain unslain.

Send them away is more like it (cast out, get out, etc..). In Matthew 4, Jesus simply said "GO" to the devil.
