CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't see the issue with skinny dipping at all. Reminds me though of this weird fundie type website that had "appropriate" swimm attire that covered head to toe...so rediculous...to bad I can't find the site...such a good laugh!

I've never gone skinny dipping. I tried once with my boyfriend in high school to go skinny dipping in the school pool after hours, but we got arrested.
Not fun. It was on the same day as a bomb threat (and we didn't know that), so they took it all serious.

Even if I was to get over the awkwardness I would feel about being nude, I still would not skinny dip in the beach. I have a hard enough time going in the water fully clothed worrying about jelly fish. I am not going to get it a chance to sting me in the genitals. Not a chance! Period!

The human body does not always have a sexual context in nudity.
However, I do not find it enjoyable looking at other naked people. I'd rather they just be covering their genitals.
Some people are unsightly naked; other people are good looking. I'd prefer not to know about most people.
Furthermore, I do not think that the human body should be glorified.
I do not think that physical beauty should be glorified.
I do not think that any form of vanity should be glorified.
Thus, no matter how nonsexual it is, I do not like the idea of showing my body; I do not want people to find me beautiful in my body nor do I want to put myself in positions where I am looking at other people thinking of physical beauty in any important fashion.

I'm sorry, all I meant was that I think you are still young. Not immature or anything like that, just young. I don't see that as being a bad thing.
I don't think there is an age limit for life experiences.
