"I watched an interesting video from a Christian YouTuber I have never seen before entitled "The Sin of Forgiveness" (the first link). While I hate the tile of his video, and would prefer something less meandering, I do think it is good and an important and useful topic that is often neglected. I just wish Biblical Fundamentalists, Pentecostals and nondenominational charismatics would be more positive on the concept of theology and traditional catechism etc.

I do however agree with the person's general viewpoint. I especially like his pointing out the true and broad nature of judgement in the Bible, and how being too quick to forgive can be a way to enable certain kinds of sin to be swept under the rug and never really delt with allowing the person to game the system and keep hurting or taking advantage of people. This exact sort of thing has been the source or many personal conversations, blog entries, threads and videos!

I however included a link to Father Anthony Messeh (the main/second link in the picture below) who did a series on "Christian Urban Legends". In his video, he mentions how the concept of "Forgive and Forget" is most likely impossible, besides being bad for not resolving or healing the wound incurred. Fr. Anthony's video has been the best presentation on the subject I have run across so far."
