I have heard that they are usually not performed during a fast, but if a person's life is in danger, then it is done.

There is always economia. My son's wedding was done during the Apostles Fast due to many circumstances. That was about the only vacation time the Priest had.

I have heard of baptisms being performed on Lazarus Saturday and Holy Saturday.

My priest does both during fasts...I'm going to a marriage blessing on Saturday (though they're calling it a wedding) and he usually says not to do baptisms during fasts because it's hard for catering, not because it's not allowed. I've been to quite a few baptisms during Great Lent, too. I was baptised Holy Saturday :)

So... definitely definitely AYP

I have seen baptisms done during fasts. usually one Holy Saturday or Theophany, but if need be, I have seen them done at other times of the year.

a little OT here:

Obi-Wan Kenobi Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

stating that only a Sith deals in absolutes, is an absolute. sorry, made me chuckle.
