  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

Signs of the Times... what do you see?

Personally, I'm pan-trib: everything will pan out, lol.

But seriously, im definitely fascinated with the subject. And i certainly have mixed feelings about it. If you youtube the guy from buzzfeed that got the rfid chip in his hand because he wanted to be the first guy to buy something with his hand, thats definitely seems like a sign of being propelled to the cashless society.

Pope frank is pushing for it too, to the point even of finding ways to indoctrinating the population today that doesnt even use currency in their day to day lives.

So many angles to look at it all from. Im dont necessarily believe that there will be a rapture this september, but perhaps something happening with the Great Deception, or even CERN tearing at the veil of reality. Personally i pray nothing happens in September, i would rather have more time for my family to repent.

(Im not too excited about fukushima either, im not sure if that has anything to do with a third of the ocean-life dying.)

Ever thought that it has something to do with Emperor Nero, actually? After all, Bero's name fits with the number of the Beast, and Revelation was addressed to specific tribes that no longer exist.

Indeed, sire. Thou sayest this form of our common tongue doth prove too difficult for the mind of the plebeian among us... nay, m'lord. Forsooth, the mother tongue hath riches in depth and width far beyond what modern youth do put to regular use. For rightly used, our tongue held in former times verb tenses which have faded from memory of most, even of those who are familiar with that most epic of tomes--the King James Version Translation of Holy Script. I do not concur with the idealists who hold that this version is without mistake. Far be it from me to claim superior knowledge to those who converse with agility in the Greek and Hebrew Languages, yea, even to parse the phrases to a turn, and to lightly speak of this or that ancient manuscript!
Yet, not I. For I know little of those scholarly matters.
I, who only grew up reading this venerable translation daily--yea, twice or thrice--or even more, ere the sun did rise anew. Thus, it hath grown very dear to my heart. Indeed, it resides woven among the very sinews of the soul and spirit. For there is none like it among the recent translations of this decadent and sinful generation-- indeed, one doth despair when hearing them read. For it doth grieve the very heart, to hear such shallow and unworthy prosaic renditions of what should rightly be poetry to thrill the sensibilities of all who may hearken thereto.

..no love, that's all childish Nonsense [i didn't say you,but them ideas]

and the reason is simple :
this world is not His kingdom.

the above childrengartenstory was devised by a group called edom/esau, and projected upon this silly matrix, in order to gain support for their created fake country in '47.

it sounds all very probable, but is contextual Drivel :
God isn't in the least interested in countries, whose leaders all [!] belong to the same club who rules this world, and then 'would go march to a country who is also theirs' .
It is all devised to trick you.

Crossreading is a good help :
Gog with the hook, is the same as 'the large crocodile, ruling the Nile' in Isaiah : read - the ancient egypt pantheon,
    aka the fallen Watchers.

...that those are 'in the north' is because of a metaphysical reason [as opposed to earthly geographic] : their taken seat of power represented by Ursa Major.
You may think 'well but if God says north He means north', true, but don't forget he will break their (Watchers) matrix surróunding earth - because that is the real problem : not their human stooges they let to rule all earth's countries by.

Sure, if you noticed I did figure it out. However, wouldn't it be better for all concerned to have a Bible version in the vernacular. As well as the fact of the KJV being full of error and imposed doctrines.

Re the year of Jesus' Return; it will be exactly 2000 years after He commenced His earthly ministry. As Hosea 6:2 says and Jesus confirms. Luke 13:32

That would put start of tribulation from 2020 to 2022. But, we don't know the exact year of Jesus' birth and crucifixion, so it could be few years before or after if we go by exactly 2000 years after Jesus ministry commencement. Jesus also said that "about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." And that He would come like a thief in a night. That could mean literally day within an exact year, or it could mean year up or down.

He also said that when tribulation starts "if those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved, but for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened." That suggest timeline can be shortened.

So, this year, 2017, is candidate for the start of tribulation even when going by the measure of "exactly 2000 years after Jesus ministry commencement". Especially with the signs that point to it. And if not in this year, every next year then.

However bad is now, tribulation is unprecedented.

"For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."
    Matthew 24:21-22

Look at Luke 3:1-2. We are given several pointers to know the exact date of Jesus' baptism.
You are right, there is much controversy over when Jesus was born and His death and Resurrection. People also like to argue over His Baptism too; if it doesn't suit their pet theory. But the date is incontrovertible: 29.5 AD. Simply add 2000 years to that and voila! He will Return.
The date Jesus said we would not know, is the Day of the Lord's wrath. It will come unexpectedly, sudden and shocking everyone. Psalms 63:7, Isaiah 29:5-6, Jeremiah 4:20 +

What is your calculation for start of tribulation? 2022?

I am not sure that the day we would not know is the Day of the God's wrath. Jesus says in Revelation that He can return "like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you". And in Matthew 24 "that day or hour no one knows" comes after describing Jesus' coming.

Also, tribulation will be cut short: "if those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved, but for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened." It could be cut short by starting it later, with the goal to end it on cue with Jesus' coming on exact date, or it could start when planned but cut short, along with moving closer the time of Jesus' arrival. Second scenario sounds more likely, given the words that "those days will be shortened".

I believe that some of the things that are sure signs are the increasing unexplained events in the sky, combined with the confusion with what is true....With everyone having a camera and video recorder in their phone, we are seeing vast recordings and pictures of unusual phenomenon in the sky. Even including very loud unexplainable sounds.

Then, with the whole election in the states and since, it is apparent that nobody really knows which news is the truth and what is false. Not to mention that the CIA and FBI is now not trustworthy. No matter where information is coming from, we have no standard or datum set as to what is truth.

Knowledge is increasing at a phenomenal rate. Interest in the paranormal and dealings with the supernatural. Movies and entertainment that focuses on beings with super abilities and connections with other dimensional powers and worlds.

It was supposed to start before the Apostles finished preaching in the cities, even saying "these last days", indicating it was to happen in their lifetime. They are long dead and the end times never happened.

Everyday dozens thousands of babies are born, will God wait forever until all these babies understand the Gospel ?

Luke 17 28 It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.

God could easily beam the knowledge into everyone's minds. For some reason He doesn't.

The tribulation period could start today and not one prophesy would be broken.
