Jesus referenced the Son of man (every mention KJB translators capitalize Son, showing deity) over 80 times in the 4 gospels.

Jesus referenced the Son of man's coming/return 9 times & 4 of those times, Jesus say's, you will SEE the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with great glory.

Matt 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Also see Matt 26:64, Mk 13:26,14:62, Lk 21:27)

Strong's #3952 COMING: Transliteration: parousia: a presence, a coming. Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine,
Definition: a presence, a coming... Usage: (a) presence, (b) a coming, an arrival, advent, especially of the second coming of Christ.

God's presents is SEEN by every person on Mt Sinai (Ex 13:21,22, 14:19,24, ) in a "pillar of a cloud" form. The LORD speaks to Moses & many SEE the presents of the LORD via a "cloudy pillar" (Ex 33:9,10). Num 12:5, 14:14 the LORD is SEEN descending "in the pillar of the cloud"

Ex 16:7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?

Ex 16:10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

Ex 24:16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

Ex 40:34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Ex 40:35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Lev 9:23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.

Num 16:19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.

Num 16:42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.

Num 20:6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.

A could of the Lords presents/glory is SEEN filling the Temple:
1 Ki 8:11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

2 Ch 5:14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

2 Ch 7:1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.

2 Ch 7:2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house.

2 Ch 7:3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

The presents of the Lord dwells on the Ark of the Covenant between the two cherubims:
Exo_25:22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

2 Ki 19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou

1 Ch 13:6 And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.

Ps 80:1 To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

Isa 37:16 O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

The LORD rides the clouds like a wind upon Cherubims:
Ps 18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

Could the soon to be SEEN sign of the "coming/presents" of Son of man be: The LORD riding upon Cherubims, full of glory, on a "Pillar of a Cloud"?

I couldn't find any mention of Covid or worldwide disease or economic slowdown.
So we are not on track.

Jesus say's, you will SEE the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with great glory.

Yes the only sign that is of any importance of value, everything else can be mistaken, taken out of contex or simple fabricated.

To see Jesus coming either as one rises to meet him or because one is in the cloud of believers decending with him. Is the only sign that matters.
