Well that is interesting. I think the greatest need of mankind is virtuous Christian men, or simply men in general. In my view if there if there is a lack of virtuous women, it is because men have not done their jobs as leaders. You have to place ultimate blame at the foot of the leaders.

It would work either way, but at this moment I think the ball is in their court.

I suppose if I were to be consistent with the idea that adultery deserves capital punishment, then I must say forced penetration (rape) deserves it too.

Agreed. Even with those mistaken executions the dp saves more lives, both in and out of prison. It's numbers game...like everything else seems to be.

I agree. Criminals either don't fear the legal consequences of their crimes, don't believe they will be caught, don't care if they are caught, and in most murder cases understand that they will not face the death penalty. Deterrence isn't demonstrable in any reasonable sense.
