Should SDA's attend synagogue on Shabbat if early Jewish believers did?

Sure it addressed your point dear friend. Your point was to the EU calendar which was a recent re-shuffle of the numbered days of the week. The 'seventh day' has always been God's Sabbath day according to the scriptures *Exodus 20:10 and that day has been unbroken from the creation and always kept by Jesus and God's people according to the scriptures. In God's time this day has always started from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset *Genesis 1. In the Hebrew or the biblical calendar the days are called day 1 (our sunday), day 2 (our Monday).......... to day 6 or preparation day before Sabbath (day 6) and Sabbath (day 7).

There are no Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays in Genesis Chapter 1. The day God "rested" was not necessarily a Sunday, traceable to our times.

There is a "Seventh Day" to be kept holy. But, due to various calendar changes, it may not end up being the original day of rest of God..

We can not know that what we now call Friday and Saturday, in the United States, are the same exact days "of old".

Hmm... ok so is that what I not said in my last post?

Hmm... nope. The seventh day Sabbath has been kept unbroken by the Jews and God's people all through time to this very present day.

Yes we can (Israel).

So, when we went from Julian to Gregorian the math does not add up. Most countries lost 10-13 days.

The seventh day Sabbath is not effected as it is on a continuous weekly cycle. The changes only effected the number of days in the year not the week.

Sounds "fair" enough. Would a weekly-cycle of Sundays work?

I would ask if you believe that this church-distinctive costs us our salvation.

Many people do not realize it Bill but the changing of times and laws was foretold in the old testament scriptures in Daniel 7:25. Also, according to the scriptures God's people are in every Church but it is many of these Churches that have fallen away from God and his Word *John 10:16 but the hour is coming and now is that Gods' true worshipers will worship him in Spirit and in truth. God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth *John 4:23-24. God is calling his people out from following man made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God *Matthew 15:3-9 back to the pure Word of God *Revelation 18:1-5. God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments in the new covenant that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and if we knowingly break it just like any of the 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin *James 2:10-11. Sin will keep all those who knowingly practice it out of God's kingdom *Hebrews 10:26-31. God knows that many of His people however, do so out of ignorance and in times of ignorance God winks at or does not hold us accountable to sin we do not know about until he gives us a knowledge of the truth of His Word. At this point he expects us to believe and follow it *Acts of the Apostles 17:31-31. BABYLON has fallen *Revelation 14:8-12 and God is calling his people out to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. God's sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him. John 10:26-27.

May God bless you as you seek him through his Word.
