This kind of preaching seems to be quite popular in the US and in some African countries. What do you think about it? To me it seems like shameless profiteering.

Trump's spiritual guide is telling churchgoers to pay her before paying their own bills

“Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

It's pathetic and they're just snake oil merchants.
Yes it is.

The charismatic movement is America's worst export
This is not a charismatic movement thing. This is a people behaving poorly thing. I've seen similar behavior from all walks of Christianity, RCC, baptists, Non-Denominational to name a few.

Well, she did NOT say that they should "pay her."

She said that they should contribute to the church before other things, to not make their tithes be what is left over. That admonition can be heard coming from thousands of other ministers in all sorts of churches across the nation, like it or not.

As for Trump, he's regularly accused of not being very religious, not a "real Christian," and now we can add the exact opposite to it--"he's overly influenced by a Christian minister."
