    Sorry 1stcenturylady,

NO the Sabbath is a memorial of creation Exodus 20:8-11 (REMEMBER) Memorial.

EXODUS 20:8-11 [8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. [9], Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: [10], But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: [11], For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: why the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

    MEMO'RIAL, a. [L.memorialis. See Memory.]
    1. Preservative of memory.
There high in air memorial of my name,
Fix the smooth oar, and bid me live to fame.
    2. Contained in memory; as memorial possession.
MEMO'RIAL, n. That which preserves the memory of something; any thing that serves to keep in memory. A monument is a memorial of a deceased person, or of an event. The Lord's supper is a memorial of the death and sufferings of Christ.
Churches have names; some as memorials of peace, some of wisdom, some of the Trinity.
    1. Any note or hint to assist the memory.
Memorials written with king Edward's hand shall be the ground of this history.
    2. A written representation of facts, made to a legislative or other body as the ground of a petition, or a representation of facts accompanied with a petition.

    ................

    CEREMONIAL, a. [See Ceremony.]
    1. Relating to ceremony, or external rite; ritual; according to the forms of established rites; as ceremonial exactness. It is particularly applied to the forms and rites of the Jewish religion; as the ceremonial law or worship, as distinguished from the moral and judicial law.
    2. Formal; observant of old forms; exact; precise in manners.
[In this sense, ceremonious is now used.]
    CEREMONIAL, n.
    1. Outward form; external rite, or established forms or rites, including all the forms prescribed; a system of rules and ceremonies, enjoined by law or established by custom, whether in religious worship, in social intercourse, or in the courts of princes.
    2. The order for rites and forms in the Romish church, or the book containing the rules prescribed to be observed on solemn occasions.

    Hope this helps

There was an much more important reason for God wanting them to 'remember.' Redemption.

And how would that be if there was nothing to be redeemed from when the Sabbath was made and sin had not entered the world?

Satan had already sinned. God has foreknowledge. Besides, scripture says so.

1 Peter 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

    Hello 1stcenturylady,

Indeed, now how does what you have written above prove that Jesus is a Sabbath? Your problem is Genesis 2:1-3. Let's see why...

Whch ever way you want to spin it God's SEVENTH DAY SABBATH was...

    1. God's SEVENTH DAY SABBATH was part of the FINISHED WORK of CREATION therefore cannot be a SHADOW of anything because it is a FINISHED WORK (Genesis 2:1-2)

    2. God's SEVENTH DAY SABBATH was made BEFORE MANKIND SINNED (Genesis 2:1-3)

    3. God's PLAN of SALVATION had NOT been given to MANKIND because MAN had not SINNED.

    4. MAN was in perfect harmony with God and Jesus says that he is the CREATOR AND LORD of the SABBATH and that the SABBATH was made HOLY for MANKIND

So NO, God's WORD disagrees with you.

Genesis 2:1-3 makes it impossible for God's SEVENTH DAY Sabbath to be a SHADOW of anything as it is part of the FINISHED WORK of CREATION and not a part of God's plan of salvation for mankind.

    Hope this helps:)

I can understand you wanting to twist scripture to not say what it does, but that is just not what I do, so lets just stop this before I lose all respect for you. You seem to want the Sabbath to be what you worship and hold in highest regard, while that honor belongs to Christ. He is concealed all throughout the Old Testament and is revealed in the New. I hope you learn that someday.

Signing off this thread and forum.

Now "1stcenturylady, is that true? How do you believe I have twisted scripture when I have only ever provided scripture that challenges what you believe? This should be a blessing to you to help you to see if what you are saying is correct of not.

It is true I hold God's WORD in high regard because I LOVE God's WORD. However, what you have stated above has no truth in it whatsoever.

There is no need to get offended because of the WORD of God as I truly only wish you well. I can see God's Spirit revealing his WORD to you as I share it but you turn yourself away from God's WORDS that are shared with you.

Please do not get offeded or harden your heart to the scriptures we share. Pray about them like the faithful Bareans.

You should know by now, I wish you only the best and a closer walk with Jesus.

You know, if only you didn't keep stating Christians don't commit sin, I would pretty much agree with what you write.

Growing up in a pentecostal church, I yearned to be baptised in the Holy Spirit. At summer camps I remember sitting on a wooden bench in a giant marquee, waiting for someone to lay hands on me so I might receive. Never did! Others did, but not me. I figured it was because I wasn't good enough/worthy enough to receive.

Then as I got a bit older, I would smoke a cigarette after church on the wall outside. The looks I got from some of the parishoners made me believe I would to hell for smoking alone, let alone all my other imperfections.
Anyway, years later, when I finally read Paul's letters, I prayed alone at home to receive the baptism, and I did receive, for I had banished all thoughts by then of having to be good enough to receive. But there was a nagging doubt in me that it might not be real, due to my childhood experiences.
One day I went to a meeting, and it was confirmed to me it was authentic, and at that time, I still smoked. I learnt a valuable lesson then, God does not demand of you what some of his children do in order to receive from him.
    Hope you come back soon
    God bless

MOSIAC SHADOW LAWS FROM THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT AND THE SANCTUARY

    PART 4

    3. SANCTUARY; THE MOST HOLY PLACE

The MOST HOLY PLACE is the most sacred place of the earthyl Sanctuary. This is where the presence of God resides. In the MOST HOLY PLACE is where the ARK of the COVENANT is held which conatains the two tables of stone where Gods wrote the 10 Commandments. Above the 10 Commandments was the mercy seat that holds the presence of God. Beside the ARK of the covenant was the MOSAIC BOOK of the Covenant of laws and ORDINANCES, Aarons budded rod, the Golden censor and the pot of manna.

HEBREWS 9:1-5 [1], Then truly the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. [2], For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the show bread; which is called the sanctuary. [3], And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; [4], Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; [5], And over it the cherubim of glory shadowing the mercy seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

    Matthew Poole's Commentary
Which had the golden censer; in the holy of holiest was reserved the golden censer, on which the high priest put the incense when annually he entered there, {see Leviticus 16:12,13} that the cloud of it might cover the mercy-seat, and so was kept for that service in it: see Joseph. Antiq. lib. 3. 7. Many would refer this to the golden altar of incense that stood before the veil in the holy place, Exodus 30:6-8; and so they read it, having the golden altar of incense before it for its service, and not within it; signifying the Godhead, by which Christ maketh his intercession, sanctifying and perfuming his own, and all offerings made in his name.

And the ark of the covenant; it was a coffer or chest of [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]tim wood, plated all over with gold, Exodus 25:10-22 37:1,6 40:20,21. This chest had for its cover a mercy-seat, listed or verged with a crown of gold round it; and is called the ark of the covenant, because the tables of testimony were laid up in it, Exodus 25:16 40:20; those two stone tables wrought by Moses, and carried up into the mount, (after he had on the idolatry of Israel broken those of God’s own making, and on which God had written the ten laws, the terms of his covenant with them), on which God wrote afresh his laws, and renewed his covenant with them, Exodus 34:1,2,28,29; compare Exodus 31:18. This ark was a type of Christ interposing between God and us, who had broken the covenant of his laws. {added} Nothing was in the Ark of the Covenant except the 10 Commandments (1 Kings 8:9)

Wherein was the golden pot that had manna; en h, wherein, refers not to the ark mentioned just before, for in it was nothing pnt but the two tables of the covenant; but the tabernacle, called the holy of holiest, in which was reserved the golden censer, pot of manna, provided by God’s charge before the giving of the law, and laid up afterwards in that archive by God’s order, Exodus 16:32-34. This manna was the bread God fed Israel in his church with forty years in the wilderness, and is called angels’ food, Psalm 78:25; a type of Christ the true bread, that God gave from heaven to his church, John 6:31-58.

And Aaron’s rod that budded; which was by God’s order put before the testimony in the holy of holiest, and not into the ark, for it was to be in view there as a token of the true priesthood, the type of Christ’s, against all after-murmurers and usurpers: see Numbers 17:1-11.

And the tables of the covenant; and as these, the urn of manna and rod of Aaron, were in the holy of holiest; so especially the two tables of the covenant were there too, but laid up in the ark which was in that place: see 1 Kings 8:9 2 Chronicles 5:10. Others think the preposition en is to be read, by which, or about, near which ark, as it is used of Christ’s sitting en dezia, Hebrews 1:3; and so notes, as to the pot of manna and Aaron’s rod, an apposition of them to or by the ark, when the tables of the covenant were undeniably put into it.

    .......................

EARTHLY SANCTUARY SHADOWS OF THE MOST HOLY PLACE: GOLDEN CENSOR

The golden censor from the most holy place of the earthly sanctuary was only used by the Great high Priest once a year on the great day of atonement when the making atonement for all of God's people (Leviticus 16:11-31). At this time the people of God were to afflict their souls in repentance seeking God's for forgiveness. Those that did not were cut off from God's people...

LEVITICUS 23:27-30 [27], Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation to you; and you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.
[28], And you shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God. [29], For whatever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. [30], And whatever soul it be that does any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

The golden censor was to represent the prayers of God's people in affliction for sin as the High Priest entered the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary as he stood in the presence of God before the ARK of the COVENANT which contained God's 10 Commandments...

    HEBREWS 9:4 [4], Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

REVELATION 8:3 [3], And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.

    .......................

    CONCLUSION
; The GOLDEN CENSOR (separate from the Alter of Incense) represents the prayers of God's people in the great day of atonement and cleasing of sin

    .......................

EARTHLY SANCTUARY SHADOWS OF THE MOST HOLY PLACE: POT OF MANNA

EXODUS 16:33 [33], And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna in it, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.

HEBREWS 9:4 [4], Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, in which was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant.

JOHN 6:33 [33], For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven, and gives life unto the world.

JOHN 6:35 [35], And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst.

JOHN 6:51 [51], I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

JOHN 6:57-58 [57], As the living Father has sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me.[58], This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eats of this bread shall live forever. (the WORD of God; John 1:1-3; 14)

    .......................

    CONCLUSION
; The pot of manna represents Jesus who is the true bread of heaven. Those who eat of it (Believe the Word of God) will have everlasting life

    .......................

EARTHLY SANCTUARY SHADOWS OF THE MOST HOLY PLACE: Aaron's Budded Rod

Aaron's Rod was used by Moses and Aaron to introduce the plagues of Egypt

EXODUS 7:12 [10], And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. [11], Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. [12], For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

God made Aarons rod which was a dead piece of would come back to life..

NUMBERS 17:7 [7], And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness. [8], And it came to pass, that the next day Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was sprouted, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. [9], And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.

It was a sign to God's people and to be kept before the Ark of the Covenant

NUMBERS 17:10 [10] And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a sign against the rebels; and you shall put away their murmurings from me, that they die not.

HEBREWS 9:4 [4], Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, in which was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant.

God made alive a branch from a tree (Rod) that was dead.

EPHESIANS 2:1 [1], And you has he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins

COLOSSIANS 2:13 [13], And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he made alive together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses

The rod (tree branch) produced almonds (fruit)...

MARK 8:24 [24], And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

LUKE 6:43 [43], 43, For a good tree brings not forth corrupt fruit; neither does a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

MATTHEW 7:17-20 [17], Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. [18], A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [19], Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. [20], Therefore by their fruits you shall know them.

MATTHEW 15:4-10 [4], Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me. [5], I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. [6], If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. [7], If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. [8], In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples. [9], As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love. [10], If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

ROMANS 11:15-21 [15], For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? [16], For if the firstfruit are holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root is holy, so are the branches. [17], And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree; [18], Boast not against the branches. But if you boast, you bear not the root, but the root you. [19], You will say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. [20], Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Be not arrogant, but fear: [21], For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also not spare you.

    .......................

    CONCLUSION
; God brings to life that which is dead. We were dead in trespasses and sin. Jesus brings us life through faith in his WORD as long as we abide in him he will produce the fruit of OBEDIENCE to God's WORD. Jesus is the root we are the branches without Jesus we can do nothing.

    .......................

Running out of room here next we will look at the most important section in the most holy place which is the ARK of the COVENANT...

And he [satan] cannot be redeemed.

What does that have to do with the sinlessness of the Creation of the earth and Adam?

Ecclesaistes 7:29 KJB - Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

A memorial is looking back, not forward.

Americans do not celebrate the 4th of July to contemplate some future event, but rather the past event.

    Exodus 20:8-11 is about Creation.

Exodus 20:11 KJB - For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Deuteronomy 5:12-15 includes Creation and their redemption.

Deuteronomy 5:12 KJB - Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

When did God command them specifically? so many years earlier in Exodus 20:8-11 KJB.

Then an additional [non-negating] reason is given:

Deuteronomy 5:15 KJB - And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
Again, the Law of God is Light, never shadow.

I removed this forum from my "watched" forums, but seeing as you turned up in my alerts, I'll answer this one.

As I said, Satan had already sinned before Adam did, but Adam and all of mankind had free will. God foreknew that Adam would sin, and those who would be rotten to the core afterwards throughout history.

    My response was to LGW:

I showed him the scripture in 1 Peter 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Even though Christ's redemption for sin was foreordained before Adam sinned, LGW couldn't see the significance in 1 Peter 1:18-21 that was in answer to his question.

You see, Hebrews 4 is about the grace of God, which now we realize is trusting in Jesus and not trusting in our own works, and our redemption through Christ, and I noticed it made reference to the 7th day of creation. Therefore, on the 7th day of creation when God rested and made the day holy, it was not because He was tired, but for a spiritual reason already foreordained.

Hebrews 4:14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work:... 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Hebrews 4 is about the redemption from sin/God's grace, putting our trust in Christ. That was the problem with the stiff-necked Jews. They saw all these miracles and were in the presence of God, but still never trusted Him. It is also why it was important for God to command us to 'remember' that day as it was holy. Why? Because it pointed toward the ONE who is holy, our God and Savior Jesus Christ, who was foreordained before the foundation of the world. But it was only to be kept UNTIL the Seed should come to whom the promise was made. The same goes for the rest of the law.

Galatians 3:19 What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made

They were to be kept until Jesus came and died for our sins. He was manifest to take away our sin, and in Him there is no sin. 1 John 3:5.

Those in Christ and baptized with the Holy Spirit do not have the overpowering carnal desire to sin. The all-powerful Holy Spirit killed that desire and replaced our carnal nature with His Spirit who cannot commit willful sin. Romans 6:2; Romans 8:9

There are heresies taught in some Protestant denominations that our past, present and future sins are automatically forgiven, just accept Jesus as their Savior. But what they don't realize is that we must also come into submission to Him as Lord. This is when we abide in Him. But those under the heresy of present and future sins being automatically forgiven, can be apathetic to sin and damned to hell.

It is those who believe that heresy that I have the most problem with, not so much with those who at least keep the 10C. However, our righteousness much exceed the scribes and Pharisees who also kept the 613 laws, plus self imposed laws. The problem was they were all still sinners. It is ONLY when Jesus gives those who repent of the past sins, the Holy Spirit that our righteousness exceeds those under the law. Because that righteousness is free of willful sin.

We have a new covenant sign to 'remember.' Jesus said "do this in remembrance of me."

“Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

All of this is to say that Jesus was foreordained to be our Sabbath rest. Jesus worked for three years teaching His disciples, and when He was crucified, He finally said, "It is finished." He then rested from His works, and we can also enter that same rest.

Hebrews 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Living Bible: 9 So there is a full complete rest still waiting for the people of God. 10 Christ has already entered there. He is resting from his work, just as God did after the creation.

Galatians 2:16 nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

    Works of the law:

Leviticus 23:1-44 = the Sabbath and feasts
    Sacrifices

Again, satan could not be redeemed.

The Sabbath of the Lord, the 7th Day, and it was created for the man [Adam], who was without sin. Adam was placed on probation.

The Sabbath was not created as a shadow of anything. It is a memorial of God resting.

It is the Glorious rest of God.

You did not address that the Law [10 Commandments, the whole] is Light, never shadow. I, by God's grace and will, will be creating a specific thread soon [as time goes] and addressing Hebrews 3-4 KJB specifically in great detail, please stick around for it, you won't want to miss it.

As for foreknowledge of God, already addressed:

"God: Hey Adam, don't want you to think about this too much, but you "remember" that Sabbath [where I, God, rested, blessed and sanctified it] and gave to you to rest in on the 7th Day likewise to keep it Holy?

Adam: Yeah, God?! It is truly great! A memorial to remember you as my Loving Creator who loves me and the family you created for me.

God: Ummmm.. ... that's not really why I made it ...

    Adam: ?????!!??

God: You see Adam, some day you're going to sin and die, it's inevitable you know, and so ....

Adam: [Adam thinking ... whoever is having the nightmare, please wake up ...]" -https://www.christianforums.com/threads/gods-word-vs-traditions-of-men-sabbath-vs-sunday.8035043/page-37#post-72647637

In Creation, Genesis 1:1-2:3 KJB, it was God that rested. God is without sin. God's law is spiritual, from the beginning, but with your theology you spiritualize it away into nothing - effectively erasing the LORD who rested in it, but you presently do not see the end from the beginning of your theology.

Disregard of God's explicit words in Exodus 20:8-11 KJB is not love, not holiness, not sanctification. It is sin, in another word - rebellion [like as witchcraft, sorcery, spiritualism]. Thus, unless you repent, I fear for you ...

Christ Jesus was indeed foreordained, before the foundation of the world, back in eternity, in that the plan of redemption would be carried out, if sin arose. Christ the sacrifice. How does that make the Sabbath of the LORD a shadow of anything? It doesn't. You simply and erroneously assert it [and all that which you bring forward has already been addressed, such as Colossians 2, Galatians, Romans, etc.] No text in scripture says that the Sabbath of the LORD foreshadowed anything, but always in every context is a memorial, "Remember" that the LORD rested in the 7th Day. God who provided all things for the man, yet the man doubted ... and through doubt, sin ...

Shadows do not appear until after sin of mankind, with the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Sabbath was before this, and is God's rest.

Presently, you have eaten that which is forbidden you, as Eve, and as she imagined herself entering into a new experience, she was deceived, as scripture says. Therefore, daughter of Eve, repent, as your mother did.

The problem with only having, at best a shallow understanding of the letter, and only being able to quote the partial letter is
You then cannot discern the true message contained in the letter. Nor can you understand the outworking of the core foundation upon which the NC stands:

The law God desires you to follow is in your heart and mind
Sin is the transgression of the law
Through the law we become conscious of sin.
What is in your mind, you in your mind must know
The law in your heart, MUST(MUST) give you heartfelt conviction of sin if you wilfully transgress it.
Therefore, no conviction of sin in regard to failing to observe a set Saturday Sabbath means, that law as written is not placed in the believers heart and mind.

There is no need for repentance concerning anything you have no conviction of sin concerning, if you have been born again. However, for those who rely on what is written in ink to know what sin is, their conviction is rather different
However, those who can only quote the letter, will it seems remain blind to the spiritual reality upon which the NC stands

I never said that satan could be redeemed. God knew Adam and Eve would be infected BECAUSE satan had already sinned. I also never said that the 10c was a shadow. It seems everything gets twisted. That is a spirit. You simply cannot understand the New Testament, especially Hebrews 3 and 4, because the Holy Spirit inspired it, and you three have been blinded.

Look guys, I'm not here to debate with you anymore. I just responded to you because of the alert. If Jesus couldn't make the Pharisees understand when He was right there doing all those miracles, I certainly don't expect you to understand the gospel from me.

Hi 1stcenturylady, nice to see you again.

What I think is sad is that you have ignored so much scripture in this thread from God's WORD that disagrees with what you are promiting here. I won't say too much more as T7C has summed things up very well in the previous post to you.

I will just comment on what I disagree with from your earlier posts. The only way you can get what your saying from the scriptures you have promoted is if you read into the scriptures something that is not there.

    For example....

Please show where does it say in scripture thatr Jesus is a Sabbath?

The scripture only says that the Sabbath is the SEVENTH DAY of the week and that it is a HOLY DAY (Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Matthew 12:8).

Please show in the scriptures that God's 4th Commandment is a ceremonial SHADOW LAW?

Sin and God plan of salvation had not ever entered the world when God made the SEVENTH DAY Sabbath for mankind and man was in perfect harmony with God.

If God's SEVENTH DAY Sabbath was a part of a FINISHED work of creation before SIN entered the world and before God's plan of salvation was given how can God's SEVENTH DAY SABBATH be a SHADOW when all the SHADOW laws are given in God's plan of salvation revealed in the MOSAIC Book of the law?

Where does it say in all of God's WORD that God's fourth Commandment is now Abolished and Sunday is now a HOLY DAY?

Silence.. there is not a single scripture even saying God's 4th Commandment is ABOLISHED. If God's 4th Commandment was ABOLISHED don't you think it strange that Jesus and all the Aposltes kept it HOLY according to the commandment even after the death of Jesus? Paul kept the Sabbath with both Jews and Gentiles.

It is the father of lies from the Garden of eden that said to Eve; Yea, has God said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Eve replied; We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. (Genesis 3:1-3)

Touching or eating the fruit was breaking God's Commandment which was not to touch it or eat it. Dosobedience to God's WORD is death because the wages of sin is death. (Genesis 3:3; Romans 6:23).

It was the father of lies that then said; You shall NOT surely die for God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:4-5; Romans 3:20).

Many religious teachers today are promoting this very same lie first told to eve in the garden of eden and that is if you break God's Commandments you will not surely die making void the WORD of God that teaches the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Those who continue in known unrepentant sin reject the gift of God's dear son and count the blood of the covenant an unholy thing whos judgment is reserved come judgement day (James 2:8-12; Hebrews 10:26-27).

If you look at the core message of what you are promoting here you are teaching that it is ok to break God's 4th Commandment when God's WORD teaches if we break ANYONE of God's 10 Commandments which the Sabbath commandment is the fourth commandment we commit SIN. God's WORD teaches we only need to continually break ONE Commandment to stanf guilty before God in SIN (James 2:8-12) and that one SIN will keep us out of God's KINGDOM (Hebrews 10:26-27).

You teach it is all about the Spirit and this is true without God we can do nothing but God's WORD teaches no one has God's Spirit without repentance from SIN, confession and faith in God's WORD. Those who continue in KNOWN UNREPENTANT sin do not have God's Spirit and God's WORD says they do not know God.

ACT 2:38 [38], Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

    ACT 3:19 [19], Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

ACT 8:22 [22], Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

1 JOHN 2:3-4, And by this we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [4], He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

None have forgiveness for their sins, receive God's Spirit or KNOW God while CONTINUING in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN or will they enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN according to God's WORD.

Sorry 1stcenturylady, God's Word disagrees with you.

    ................

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

    ................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31)

They are not here to learn, but to teach law based righteousness(in reality) An outward form of law based righteousness though, the outside of the cup...

Now Marco, that has no truth it.

Please show where anyone here has said to you that we get righteousness from God's LAW? You have been corrected many times already in relation to these false statement through God's WORD yet you continue to promote these this nonsense.

To continue to say things about people that they do not believe or have said when they have corrected you is bearing false witness and is a sin against God.

Once more I write this as a witness for your correction.

We are ONLY saved by GRACE through FAITH and NOT of ourselves it is a GIFT of GOD and NOT of WORKS lest any man should boast.

If your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE then you are still in your SINS because you have rejected God's he GIFT of God's dear son (James 2:18; 20; 26; James 2:8-12). If your tree has no FRUIT then it will be cast down and thrown into the fire (Matt 7:12-23; Hebrews 10:26-27)

Many do not know why God has given us GRACE and FAITH...

    WHAT IS GRACE FOR?

ROMANS 1:5, By whom we have received GRACE and apostleship, FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name.

Romans 6:1-2, [1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. [2], How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

    DOES FAITH ABOLISH GOD'S LAW?

ROMANS 3:31 [31], Do we then ABOLISH THE LAW THROUGH FAITH? GOD FORBID: YES, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO CONTINUE IN SIN ONCE THEY RECEIVE A KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH?

HEBREWS 10:26-27 [26], For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, [27], But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Indeed, those who CONTINUE IN SIN will not enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

    .................

If you can only be in a saved state if you observe the law, you can only be righteous in God's sight if you observe the law.
