Same-sex marriage may pose a grave threat to religious liberty, but the cultural conditions and assumptions that make that threat possible are rooted in heterosexual behavior and the idea that everyone has a right to consequence-free sexual intimacy.

Continued- Why do so many people accept homosexual sin? Because they first learned to accept heterosexual sin...

We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

We may have gotten to this point now, but for decades Christians have fought to use government to keep birth control illegal (mostly given up on that one), to bust into people's houses and march them out at gunpoint and into jail because of their private sexual behavior (last sodomy law struck down in 2003), to prevent people from adopting children based on their sexuality (not just disallowing same sex couples, banning even gay individuals from adopting), to preserve the right to discriminate in hiring and housing based on sexuality (and, in plenty of cases, actively discriminating based on it), and far too often shunning and disowning of friends, family, even children for being gay. For decades, many Christians have persecuted gay and lesbian people in this country. It's comical to see the whine of Christians now that their rights of persecution are being diminished.
