First of all, let me commend you for persevering with a question that many Bible Scholars dismiss (wrongly) as unimportant. As you say, it affects our understanding of eschatology.

keras: April 3, 33 AD
BABarean2: 30 AD

When was the start of the first 69 weeks?

BABarean2: 457 BC

How old was Jesus when he was baptized?

How old was Jesus when he was crucified?

keras: 37
BABarean2: 34-35
Colter: 35 1/2
Adstar: ???
A.clock: 33 1/2

Thanks for posting your dates!

Those dates do affect your view of eschatology. For example...

In order for there to be a future 7 year tribulation, Jesus had to be crucified in either 32 or 33 AD, and he had to be 35+ years old at the time.

In other words, if Jesus died in either 30 or 31 AD, and Jesus was 33 or 34 years old, then there cannot be a future 7 year tribulation.

Most people who believe in a future 7 year tribulation would also like to believe Jesus was 33 1/2 when he was crucified, but the dates simply do not work. That is why so few are able or willing to answer the questions.

Anyone else able or willing to post your answer to these questions...

When was Jesus born?
When was Jesus baptized?
When was Jesus crucified?
When was the start of the first 69 weeks?
When was the end of the first 69 weeks?

My view of eschatology, plain and simple:

2In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am. John 14 2-3

Very true. I used to wonder why commentaries went to such lengths to prove 33AD was the crucifixion date. Then I realised that they had an agenda, and history had to be 'bent' to fit their preconceived end-time theories.

No. But if your view of eschatology is correct, shouldn't you be able to find dates for these basic events that would fit within your view...

When was Jesus born?

When was Jesus baptized?

When was Jesus crucified?

When was the start of the first 69 weeks?

When was the end of the first 69 weeks?
Here a detailed calculation done by someone that you may find interesting

-Jesus is born in year 0004 BC >>> 4234 years after Adam
