Snail mail in this case shows an extra effort if nothing else..I know I would appreciate it anyway. Not that email hurts but you see what I mean.

Sounds good about being minus computer and 'phone!writing Christmas Cards with a nice fountain pen is so satisfying. Turning off the computer ...and phone... ha, ha, yes, I will be starting to write them shortly.
...and they are fun to receive!
Well, exactly!Snail mail in this case shows an extra effort if nothing else..I know I would appreciate it anyway. Not that email hurts but you see what I mean.
Yes, I have seen those! It is also a way to help those who make cards as a living ;people who may have a handicap and find it difficult to make a living outside .
The cards I send now are made by those who do mouth or foot painting ,and they are quite wonderful .
aaahhhh! I don't know if I could cope without the screen for too long...Sounds good about being minus computer and 'phone!

There is clearly thought behind it, whereas an email is just a few clicks...Snail mail in this case shows an extra effort if nothing else....
Yes, it's a great custom, to keep in touch with old friends and family and have opportunity to mention the Saviour's birth.I love sending out Christmas cards, and plan on doing so pretty soon.

I do prefer cards in the post rather than email! We did a Christmas family portrait made into Christmas cards in October and have already snail mailed those far and wide, whom I will not be seeing in person. I'm not a fan of the electronic nonsense. Even had a sil who would snail mail everyone a card even though we saw her in person ON Christmas Day! Not sure what she was getting at. It's just easier (and saves money on stamps!) to just hand them out in person.
There's something nice about sending cards through the post.I actually don't have too many people I send Christmas cards to by mail, only one
but always attach them to Christmas presents for friends.
