If a president's actions are above review, there's no reason to think that this stops at the end of his term. Particularly if everything he's involved in is classified. Classification doesn't go away when the participants leave government.

Personally I doubt Obama would attempt this. The president as king is a Republican thing. I'll also note that there have been lots of attempts by Republicans to find dirt, and so far none has worked. I doubt this one will either.

A President is Constitutionally prohibited from serving more than two terms in office.

Remember how there were people standing in front of Obama’s home in Chicago calling for his wife to be raped? Remember how people from Hollywood depicted his murder on stage, held a replica of his severed head?

I remember the right-wing press went into pearl-clutching hysterics when he wore a brown suit. Complained about his golfing. Stuff like that, yes.

However, the Obamas’ home is not surrounded by a 10-foot wall. The house is still clearly visible from the streets, and photographs document that the stairway leading from the main entrance of the home down to the street is not impeded by a wall, fence, or security gate, as the Washington Post noted:

We already know that having a black president unhinged a lot of people. Trump himself was peddling the birther conspiracy theories.

For a while back there, it seemed like no fantasy was too crazy for a lot of conservatives to believe.

Trump keeps hoping for the silver bullet that will save him. I don't think there's going to be one. What he should do, is get some adults back into the WH and do a better job of governing.

Given that these are the same Republican Senators who refused to supoena John Bolton in January, apparently they are being given their marching orders straight from the White House and tasked with orchestrating a Democratic scandal to coincide with the 2020 Election!
