Asia Bibi recently cleared of blasphemy in 2009, having served 8 years in prison, much of which in soliditary confinement. Since court decision nationwide protests in Pakistan, led government to put Asia on a Exit Control List to appease protestors. Her and her family’s lives are in grave danger.

More to the point pray that she and her family will be allowed to leave.
That the leave given to appeal against the discission to find her not guilty will either be so court up in the very slow pakistan legal system or that the judges find that the original judgement to find her not guilt was legaly sound. ( highly unlikely as the protestors have promise to return if 'the wrong verdict is made!' )
and to pray for the safty of Christians in pakestan as they are venerable to violence etc and for the judges who found her innocent.

This is an incredible case. Apparently two government officials have been assasinated and her attorney has been given asylum in the Netherlands because he feared for his life.

As of today, Wikipedia is seeking to know whether she has actually left jail. One comment I read is that her circumstances will change little, as she needs to be kept in custody for her protection.

Pray that the awful hatred demonstrated in this case will be overcome, and that the gospel of Christ will be spread further in Pakistan.
