Second prayer question.

I have a question how should I pray for God’s will to done in my life? When I go to prayer at night I am short for words and it results into vain praying or just complaining.

I like to pray about other people in my life, I ask God to give them blessings so they are doing better. Sometimes I'm very specific, like may he please heal them from their infirmity and what not.
