  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

Feasts of the Lord (Lev 23)

    1)Passover, 2)Unleavened Bread, 3)Firstfruits, 4)Pentesost, 5)Rosh Hashanah/Trumpets 6)Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement 7)Tabernacles

The first 4 Feasts are referred to as the Spring Feasts and point to His 1st coming.

Jesus died on Passover, He was buried during Unleavened Bread, Jesus rose on Firstfruits (a resurrection foreshadow/Easter today 3/29/2021 on the Hebrew calendar this year), He sent the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.

The Last 3 Feasts point to the Lords 2nd coming.

The Firstfruits wave began while wandering in the wilderness, owning no land or crops. The people partook by faith that God would lead them to the promised land. It was forbidden to eat from the crop fields until the sheaf/omer offering had been lifted up (in acknowledgement) to the LORD (Lev 23:14).

    FIRSTFRUITS:
    Lev 23:
9 the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
(MY NOTE: This sheaf, was a bundle of 1st blossoms of the 1st grains gathered. The priest (starting at the waist) was to lift-up (over his head) & wave the sheaf before God. This action acknowledged & dedicated the coming harvest to the LORD. This wave/offering before/onto the LORD, sanctified the whole field of harvest to come. Christ was RAISED-UP the firstfruit of resurrection. Setting the stage for the entire human race to be resurrected. (1 Cor 15:22)

11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
(NOTE: On the 1st day of the week. The Priest was to wave/lift-up the sheaf/omer before the LORD. This waving of the sheaf (known as "counting of the omer" (Lev 23:15-17) connecting the 2 HARVEST feasts. Began a 50 day count down the the Feast of Pentecost. At the 1st Pentecost the Lord gave Moses the 10 commandments & the Nation of Israel was born. At the 1st post resurrection Pentecost the Lord gave believers His indwelling Holy Spirit & the Christian Church was born)

12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
(NOTE: Also on the 1st day of the week a blemish free lamb was to be offered/burnt unto the LORD (olah)

13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savior: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin (aprox 2qts).
(NOTE: Same day, a meat offering: fine flour mingled with oil = Unleavened Bread & a drink offering of Wine. The exact symbols Jesus taught us to remember His Sacrifice. Jesus our Bread of Life (Jn 6:48, 35, 51) & our faith in His shed blood that forgives/pardons our sins symbolized by the wine (Matt 26:28, Rom 3:25).

    1 Cor 15:
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23 (B) Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

A day of resurrection/reckoning awaits every person that ever lives. The question becomes; where will you spend eternity. With/in the presents of God our Creator. Or separated from, the presents of God.

    John 11:
25 Jesus said; I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Here Jesus brings a Firstfruits resurrection wave offering to the Father, from the grave:

    Matt 27:
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
(NOTE: Christ 1st, then many saints whom had died rose)

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
(NOTE: Christ 1st, then many saints whom had died rose)

    First Fruits a Resurrection/Easter Foreshadow

Jesus resurrection is Father's receipt/stamp of approval/receipt. Proclaiming Jesus Sin Atoning Payment was received & accepted.

Anyone that will place their faith/belief in Jesus death, burial & resurrection (1 Cor 15:1-4) is promised eternal life with/in the presents of our creator God.

2 Cor 6:2 (B) Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

    Other Fristfruits foreshadows:
The almond is the 1st tree to blossom after thee dead of winter.

Aaron’s rod budded "almond blossoms" & also ended up producing almonds (Num 17:8).

God tells Moses to make a candlestick like unto almonds. (Ex 25:33-34)

Moses is told that the menorah candle holders should be shaped like an almond blossom. (Ex 37:19-20)

The Tabernacle/Temple golden lamp stand/MENORAH (only source of light in the holy place) Had 6 sides arms with 3 golden almond blossoms another 4 on the center shaft, there were 22 almond blossoms on.

Gen 43:11, the almond is described as the best of fruits

Num 17:8 and Hebrews 9:4, Aaron's rod sprouts sweet almonds

Jer 1:11-12, The almond tree as a symbol of God's watchfulness: Jeremiah say's, "I see an almond tree," God says, you have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.
