We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

The mass hasn't been singled out for social distancing, or banning of assemblies. Every place from sports halls to cafes to doctor's surgeries has been affected.

We've got some politicians self isolating, which means they're applying the same rules to themselves as everybody else. They've got one huge advantage though - they're still going to get paid (very well) while they stay home - a lot of other people have lost their jobs, and I suspect a number of businesses will go bankrupt with no income coming in, and overheads still to be paid.

Masses are still being held, but the congregation simply is unable to attend.

The Black Death had a very negative effect on the church, and contributed to some extent to the Reformation a century or so later.

Finally when the pandemic is over, the mass will resume as before.

This is marvelous, Michie! I always loved Screwtape though.

I do think that after this pandemic is over, one of the changes in our society will be going to church (any christian church). People will simply get out of the habit just as they've changed their habits in so many things. Unfortunately, the lines to confession, I'm afraid, will be even shorter, too. He will make our crooked paths straight tho', somehow.
