None of the ordinary (non-symbolic) passages of the NT about the return of Christ have any Judaic/middle eastern events in them, Rom 2, 8, I Cor 15, Heb 9, 2 Pet 3. The day of judgement for all mankind does not need to have a war happen anywhere to accomplish that proceding.

Babylon can't be known at this time, Scripture says it's a mystery. It's of course a sexually immoral cult and many many prostitutes are Catholic or Russian Orthodox, allies. Many Russian prostitutes are even working or being slaved possibly in Israel. Saudi Arabia does not even compare, especially being severely antihomosexual, very centric to it's national religion, and it's hardly mysterious. Islam is certainly not mysterious.
