When one group is favored over another it often brings resentment rather than understanding and peace.
Muslim kids get a safe space but other kids that are consistently bullied aren't?
We've seen over and over kids that commit suicide or become violent because of consistent bullying. Sometimes they are bullied over things they over no power over whatsoever. Aspy kids are often bullied and they have serious issues with understanding why. They are so hurt that they become seriously depressed. Adults will accuse them of lying because they often cannot make eye contact when conversing. Believe me they need a safe place more than most.

If we adults and our children understood more about different people, there would be less bullying.

It is an ideology, so should be named Islamism, like communism, socialism, etc.

I have no problem with them teaching kids about Islamism, but do you think they are going to teach them about christianity, no, they still teach them we came from monkeys.

Yes, schools teach about religions, indirectly.
They teach about Christianity and evolution, etc.
But schools can only teach ABOUT these ideas.
The individual must decide what to believe.
Schools can only provide information.

When I went to school, we were not taught anything about religions. My daughter, in 9th grade was taught that the Jews showed up in the time of the pharaohs and were sheep herders. I don't remember some of the other things, but I couldn't believe it. I don't think any religion should be taught in public schools. I also don't think they should be talking about LGBT issues to young impressionable children either.

Spain has always struggled with poverty and poor soil.
Even with the steady influx of gold from the conquest of the New World, Spain could not improve the lives of its own Christians.
It used the gold to fight a Christian vs. Christian war in the Netherlands instead.
Nobody won.
Spain began to lose influence after that.

Spanish royalty remained comfortable, but the Spanish people lived hard-scrabble lives.
Poor management doomed Spain.
After that, the only wealth Spain could acquire was wealth it could acquire violently, by conquest.

You're totally missing the point, which is that Muslim Moors violently invaded Spain, which is "stealing", and "stealing isn't good". But rather, you choose to condemn the Christians, who suffered tragedy for throwing out their own conquerors! Makes little sense. Do you think you would condemn the New World if they managed to throw out the Spanish? I doubt it.

...I don't know that you even understand the magnitide of the Islamic Conquests, which brought rise to the crusades later on in time, as the following video explains.

No, I'm saying the Moors brought trade and commerce and ideas when they moved into Spain.
The Christian people benefited.
The violent ejection of Jews and Muslims did not profit Spain.
It created ill will and hardship.

And yes, I know about the Islamic conquests...
