As many things written in the Bible show tribulation through fire and brimstone. Do we understand through what is written that our Lord may judge what is left after using fire and brimstone as a test? Or is this term used to describe casting out things unholy away forever and ever?

If cast away into fire and brimstone in means of tribulation were true.. is it possible for the tribulation to end?

For example: If someone were to make it through tribulations of fire and brimstone, will they be accepted in the eyes of our Lord or continuously cast out because of ascending through devilish means.

Would the tribulation/burning/judgement ever stop? Doesn't everyone go to Heaven as the wicked will be truly cast away through things ungodly that they live through?

Revelation 7:13-14 "
Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”

I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

There is only one condition for entering heaven. That is, we must be spiritually alive. That's why Jesus came. Only He can give life. Those who are born again are already in heaven spiritually. The soul and body will catch up, either by leaving this life or Lord Jesus returning.

Those who fear not making it should consider whether or not they are born again. If they are, then they have eternal life. It is the life of Christ. If the life of Christ can be found in hell then so can the born again Christian. Hebrews tells us that the life of Christ is indestructible.

For the Christian, God's fire of judgement is to consume the "dross" of self that still remains in the soul. That happens in this life. Unbelievers are dead in trespass and sin - and we were all born that way. There is no opportunity for those who reject Christ in this life to receive Him in the next. Now is the day of salvation. It won't be "now" forever.

Our acceptance is not conditioned on our going through fire and brimstone (even though fiery trials are promised). Our only grounds for acceptance is faith in the sinless Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world.

There are two groups of people. Those who accepted Christ for their salvation, and those who do not. The goats are on the left, and they will forever be cast away from the presence of God.

In this life one of two things occur, we will be reunited into a restored relationship with God, or we reject Him.

Either way this life is full of trial and tribulations. For the Christian our faith is perfected and we become sanctified beings in Christ. For those who reject Christ the trials and tribulations is confirmation to their own soul of their refusal of God, their status as enemies of God, and the justice of the Judgment.

Either way we are without excuse. Christians enter into life through the blood of Christ, and those who reject Him are cast away into the second death.

Our trials as children of the living God refine us, however, so we are to take heart in them, even though it's often difficult we find our strength in Christ in them, through them, and continue on and try and learn the things God desired us to learn, so that we can grow through them all, and someday hear those words "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Those would be lovely words to hear...but for them, we know we could never have done any of it without HIM.
