How are we saved today and we all could write a list on HOW !

#1 Many will say that they have been going to church with their family for years , I have to be saved .

#2 Many will say I was WATER BAPTIZED .

#3 I am saved because I am one of the 144,000 .

#4 I am saved , because I keep the 10 COMMANDMENTS .

#5 Many say that they are BORN AGAIN .

#6 Many believe in a WORK SALVATION .

#7 Many say they are SAVED BY GRACE .

#8 I know that I am saved , because I SPOKE IN TONGUES .

#9 I believe that if all are NOT BAPTIZED FOR THE DEAD , you are not saved .

#10 We should all know how we are saved , right ?

#11 So explain how we are saved today bY GRACE ?

#12 Can we know who was the FIRST PERSON SAVED BY GRACE ?

#14 I believe that anyone NOT baptized for the DEAD will not be raosed from the DEAD .

I think 1 Corinthians is pretty definitive about what the gospel is and what we have to do to GET saved and STAY saved.


1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
1. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:


I declare unto you the gospel..
By which also ye are saved...
first of all... that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures...
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

The only requirement to stay saved is if ye keep in memory.

In Psalms 119:29-30, David wanted to put false ways far from him, for God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey His law, and he chose the way of faith by choosing to obey God's law, so this has always been the one and only way of salvation by grace through faith. In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him how to walk in His way that he might know Him and Israel too, which is eternal life (John 17:3), which is again salvation by grace through faith. In Genesis 6:8-9, Noah found grace in the eyes of God, he was a righteous man, and he walked with God, so God taught him how to walk in His way by grace and he was righteous because he obeyed through faith, so he was saved by grace through faith by the same means as Abraham (Genesis 15:6) and everyone else. In Genesis 5:21-24, Enoch faithfully walked with God, so he was saved grace through faith. In Hebrews 11:4, by faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did, by faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings, and by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead, so Abel was the first person saved by grace through faith, if not Adam and Eve if they believed the promise (Genesis 3:15).

Galatians 1:6-8 only leaves room for one Gospel. The Gospel of the circumcision or uncircumcision is simply directing the everlasting Gospel of the Kingdom to different audiences. In Matthew 4:15-23, Jesus began his ministry with the Gospel message to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, which was a light to the Gentiles, and God's law is how his audience knew what sin is (Romans 3:20), so repenting from our disobedience to it is central to the Gospel of the Kingdom, which Jesus prophesied would be proclaimed to all nations (Matthew 24:12-14), and commissioned his disciples to bring to the nations (Matthew 20:16-20), so the Gospel that went to the nation of Israel and to the other nations is the same Gospel of the Kingdom, which is the Everlasting Gospel.

I wonder. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. God said that His death was required. There was no other way to do it. So does not every human ever born belong to Jesus by this choice? God choose everyone and Jesus died for everyone. That decision has been made. That is why it says "whosover will..." Apparently, many choose to not.

And in Eph 1:4 the BODY OF CHRIST was CHOSEN , BEFORE / PRO the foundation of the world .

Israel was CHOSEN / FROM / APO the foundation of the world , Matt 13:35 .

The answer people give is that the body was chosen, but the individuals that make up that body? Perhaps not. God of course knows who will choose to be saved. But knowing who will choose does not equate to Him choosing them. Essentially, He chose everyone, but not everyone will choose Him.

Regarding the faith to call on the name of the Lord, indeed so true....

And...

There is more that Christ said to us, for His sheep to hear.

He said it's not optional also: Bible Gateway passage: Matthew 7:12-28 - English Standard Version

And: John 13:34 - Love One Another

So, instead of His teachings to us being optional things you don't need....instead, they are crucial for us to make it -- to endure -- as you see in Matthew 7:24-27 -- He says that those that will endure are going to be only those that hear and do as He instructed us.

So, we are saved only by Grace, through faith -- it is the free gift of God! -- and not by works, lest anyone boast.
We are created in Christ Jesus to do the good works that God has prepared for us to do.
