God can desire all to be saved. God can command; man can disobey. God can die for your sins; you can say, "big deal".

Uhm you still don't seem to get it. We are talking about already saved that is you said "I do" to God then you stuff up and God says NOPE.

According to BCSenior we should convert somebody then kill them
to make sure they get to heaven. Have I made the point simple enough?
Actually, what is simple ...
are the many NT passages which warn that salvation can be lost.

I don't dream up my beliefs ... they come from Scripture.
So, I am forced to believe what I am reading therein,
and what the Holy Spirit has revealed about them.

Pastors are supposed to be doing this ...
reading, and hearing, and learning, and teaching the sheep!

A few short years ago, God gave a message to one of His prophets,
and this is a short excerpt from that message ...
"... shepherds leading multitudes to hell ..."

If God chooses us to be saved then how can we mess up to be unsaved?
That is an unresolved contradiction.
To me, it is obvious that God can choose to give a person the chance to be saved.
And to me, it is obvious that a person can choose sin, disobedience, etc. instead.

IOW, God can choose to NOT give some people the chance to be saved.
For His reasons (not ours).
Of those He would like to have with Him in heaven, He chooses to give a chance.
But, via their God-given free-will, they can refuse ... even though they are BACs!
Is this not possible?

Hmm...well, someone's certainly not getting it.:) And this has already been addressed. It's never God saying nope; it would be us, in this case us saying "I do" and later saying "I don't". Being a branch grafted in and later cut back off because of our actions.

Like John 15:1-6 ... where those in Jesus are cast away and burned,
IF they do NOT produce fruit.

Just another warning! ... But, this particular one:
Does everyone in Jesus produce some fruit in their lives?
IF we're talking 30-60-100, then YES.

Agreed, something at least, something produced with whatever God has given. In the Parable of the Talents the servants didn't all produce the same amount, but only he who buried his talents and produced nothing was booted from the kingdom.

Yes exactly, another good example.

Your posts about election says God chooses who is saved.
Then you say that a person who has been chosen by God can lose their salvation
therefore God has chosen wrongly.
Haven't I already explained the possibility here?
Just because you are chosen by God doesn't
automatically make you home free! No OSAS!

God can choose to give people a chance to be saved.
He wants these people to be saved ...
possibly because they have humble and contrite hearts?

But, perhaps they choose to NOT go along with God's Plan.
E.G. Perhaps, they choose to remain a habitual sinner.
Perhaps, they are just such slaves to sin they are trapped.
But, Paul says they have a CHOICE ... see Romans 6:16-19.
Or, if you're lazy, read below >>>
