I know but im talking about the people who kept fornicating and never repented for their sins or the homosexuals who never repented or the adulterers and etc that didnt repent for their sins and they get left behind... They wont have a chance to repent again during the tribulation because the tribulation is only for those who have never recieved jesus not the ones who did recieve jesus but kept on sinning..?The saved don't get "left behind" ... they get taken to heaven. ;o)
All have the opportunity to accept or reject salvation in the Lord ... it is a gift. When one does then they begin His work of sanctification. It's a process.
Salvation is: Justification + Sanctification = Glorification
God’s plan for our salvation has three parts in this order: Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification.
Justification:
Each one of us have broken God’s Law. This is sin. The wages of sin is (eternal) death (cease to exist forever). This price is more than we can ever repay–it is impossible. Because of God the father’s unconditional love for the us, he gave his only begotten Son Jesus to pay for our debt of eternal death on the cross. This one time event was done by Jesus. Only Jesus is worthy to pay the price for each one of us because he never sinned. He has not broken God’s Law. Jesus (in the form of a man) died a physical death, giving His life willingly and was raised back to life; thus conquering eternal death.
sanctification.
It’s the reciprocation of our love toward God. We are sanctified with the help of the Holy Spirit (Comforter) that Jesus gives us. Sanctification means to set a part or to make holy. His Holy Spirit helps us in this process to become more like Christ. This is not a one time event; it’s a life long process (we stumble here and there). The process of sanctifying and purifying us (the works that Jesus does in the believer, and is not of ourselves) ... it is HIM working in us and through us. We are separated from the world. We are in the physical world but not of the world spiritually. Our mind (thinking) changes over time and therefore our actions also change. Our faith increases more and more as He faithfully works in us. Hebrews 12:2
The third stage in the plan of salvation is our glorification.
We won’t be glorified until after Jesus returns. John writes of this in his first letter when he states that “when he shall appear we shall be like him (1 John 3:2). Paul refers to this stage frequently. For example: “For this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality (1 Corinthians 15:53). He also refers to a time when “we shall all be changed in a moment in in a twinkling of an eye at the last trump” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). Paul speaks further of the doctrine of glorification when he says in Romans 8:18, “For the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” We receive glorified spiritual bodies. Receiving eternal life and being with Him forevermore. Those saved (justification + sanctification) will be glorified when Christ returns at the first resurrection.
Those who accepted Christ but kept sinning will be judged after they are 'raptured'I know but im talking about the people who kept fornicating and never repented for their sins or the homosexuals who never repented or the adulterers and etc that didnt repent for their sins and they get left behind... Thats not necessarily true because it says that fornicators, adulteres, homosexuals, thieves, idolaters etc will *Not enter into the kingdom of heaven so theres no way ti enter into heaven and still be doing that stuff which leaves me to believe that you will be left behind and have no chance at redemptionThose who accepted Christ but kept sinning will be judged after they are 'raptured'
1 Cor 3:10By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

Good question. Many Christians do not take their salvation all that seriously. Complacency and laziness are big problems, as is moral laxity. The New Testament letters show that these problems were commonplace in the early church.Basically if your a christian & you get left behind that means your not going to heaven right?because God gave you a chance to get it right before he came back...?
Ig anybody who will be left behind who new jesus and believed in him but kept on sinning will not go to heaven because during the tribulation people want be able to repent for their sins they will only beable to except jesus as their lord and saviour theyre will be no time for sin plus God says that fornicators, adulterers and homosexuals and thieves and etc wont enter into the kingdom of heaven so he wouldnt have said that if they had a chance during the tribulation. I think the tribulation period is only for those who do not know jesus and has never accepted him so i guess if you dont get raptured and you knew God your time is up. I believe those who rejected christ wont have a chance eitherGood question. Many Christians do not take their salvation all that seriously. If a person is born again, he is already in heaven. (Ephesians 2:6). However, there is a second aspect to salvation. God wants to purge and purify the soul of every believer for the sake of the Kingdom of God. Those who lack diligence and live for themselves are a hindrance, not a help. The tribulation period will be a time for those Christians to get real with God. We can see this happening in countries such as China where to be a Christian is costly.
No one who is born again will be rejected from heaven. It's our home, not our destination. We do choose our placement in the kingdom in this lifetime. Those who choose to lose their independent self life now will be greatly rewarded in the next life. It also enables the Christian to be an effective worker in this life. Paul puts it like this:
"…Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord must turn away from iniquity.” A large house contains not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay. Some indeed are for honourable use, but others are for common use. So if anyone cleanses himself of what is unfit, he will be a vessel for honour: sanctified, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work.…" (2 Timothy 2:20-21)
No, it does not mean you are not going to heaven. If you're a Christian then you are not going to be left behind.Basically if [you're] a christian & you get left behind that means your not going to heaven right?because God gave you a chance to get it right before he came back...?
No one is "left behind". That is only a recent idea among some protestant groups.
You are on earth now and have the chance to become Christian. You should work towards that.
As I understand it, someone who truly repents and is born again by the Holy Spirit will not be left behind to go through the tribulation. Even if they struggle with sin, but still experience some level of victory in their life, all genuine Christians will be taken to Heaven when the Restrainer is "taken out of the way" (2 Thessalonians 2:7). The tribulation isn't meant for those who have already accepted Christ. Also, Christians / The Church are one of the ways the Holy Spirit restrains the world, so it would make sense for any who are sealed with the Holy Spirit to be taken once that restraint ends.Basically if your a christian & you get left behind that means your not going to heaven right?because God gave you a chance to get it right before he came back...?

However, if someone hasn't truly repented and been born again, whether if they claim to be a Christian or not, they will go through the tribulation. Even though there will be judgments poured out upon the world during the great tribulation, it will also be a time of testing for those who are left behind. I do believe people can still be saved during the tribulation, even after believing in Jesus and knowing the gospel, if they haven't already fallen away completely. I think it all depends on how much revelation they had prior. Although, it will be very difficult time to live once the tribulation starts, and accepting Jesus will basically be a death sentence; those who are saved after the rapture will be tested through suffering and resisting the mark of the beast to prove themselves.
Many may very well fall away completely and have their fate sealed after the rapture happens. But, salvation will still be possible for some I believe. The Holy Spirit may also operate in a different way, but that's a topic probably best left for another thread lol.
My understanding of the end times and the great tribulation is not based on the works of fallible people and their interpretation of scripture, but on my studies of the word of God itself. The tribulation is in the past.
The Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21) - Ecclesia
ecclesia.org/Truth/mat05.html
John Walvoord, a leading spokesman for Dispensationalism, says this, "The great tribulation, is a specific period of time beginning with the abomination of desolation (We saw that this began in 67 AD when Cestius Gallus, the Roman general, laid siege to Jerusalem) and …
Yea the tribulation is about to happen very very soonMy understanding of the end times and the great tribulation is not based on the works of fallible people and their interpretation of scripture, but on my studies of the word of God itself.
I believe the great tribulation is about to happen and my views do not easily change. That's why we are seeing earthquakes increasing, pestilence and diseases increasing (i.e. the coronavirus), wars and rumors of wars increasing (protests taking place all over the world), food shortages starting, microchip technology paving the way for the mark of the beast which is already being used in a person's right arm of forehead, etc.
What happened in the past was a foreshadow of what was going to happen in the future. We've even seen a foreshadow of Daniel 9:27 (i.e. the 7 years of tribulation with the a.c.) through Obama: Birth pangs
