• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands,
you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

He does not say cleanse hands and purify hearts to draw near to God.
Emmanuel is the purifier of our hearts, and the One who makes our hands clean.
Time spent in the Presence of the Lord ‘cleanses our hands’.
Hearing His Voice makes the heart pure.

    The Full Assurance Of Faith

    Hebrews 10:
    19
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil,
    that is, His flesh,
21 and having a High Priest over the house of God,
22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our
hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Our Sufficiency Is Not Of Ourselves
2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as
from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God

The Way Is In The Sanctuary Of Our Devotions
Psalm 77:13 Your way, O God, in the sanctuary; Who is so great a God as our God?

1 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves
from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

1 John 3:3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

    Cleansed To Serve The Lord
    Hebrews 9:14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works
    to serve the living God?

The Message To The Religious Of His Day
    Matthew 23:
    25
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside
of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.

26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, so that the outside
of them may be clean also.

    Luke 11:
    40
Foolish ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?
41 But rather give alms of such things as you have; then indeed all things
    are clean to you.
