I don't get the bible passage, but I think he means to say (and i agree) that if they enjoy it and both want it then it's not wrong.

So that's the standard?

A big part of bondage is trust, you surrender yourself to the other person and trust that they will do what is best for you.

Yeah, well once you're tied up you don't have any say.... FWIW, it sounds like you've been reading and looking at things you need to go to confession for.

As a woman, I rather agree.... it's almost like..the Bible tells us that wives should submit to their husbands, but in this case the husband is (mis)using the whole idea to fulfill his own desires..

Plus I'm sorry but I find it disgusting and it's a lot like inappropriate content  eww

:sorry:

I agree. A lot of this is just fantasy fulfillment based on looking at inappropriate content.

Then they are both lustful fools.

It in no way can be justified.

Even if we are married we are still called to be pure and chaste. Beating each other up for sexual pleasure seriously is perverted and goes against our human diginity.

:amen: The bible says that we are to "let the marriage bed be undefiled". Some have twisted it to say that "the marriage bed is undefiled". God's intent was that we should not engage in activities that are perverted lest we defile the marriage bed.

Reps bro!

And he's only 24. Such wisdom!

The goal is mutual enjoyment for husband and wife,

Not according to Catholic teaching. Sex is a renewing of the marital sacrament and an expression of Christs relationship to the Church. I hardly think these perversions satisfy either criteria.

(I know this is kind of a taboo topic, so I told the kids to stay out)

Children are resilient and quick to forgive, but they are observant and the virtues or vices we demonstrate are often the ones they most remember and imitate. What are we teaching our children? And how can we cooperate with grace to make sure it is what we want to teach them?

These are relative terms.

Is a soul kiss a perversion ?

I know those who say yes,

Personally I can't envision foreplay without.

This is relativism, it personal preference.
Let's cut the bull out. The relativism is because ppl have fried their brain cells at a young age most probably on inappropriate content and other sick perversions. They can't get this out of their brain.

The brain is ruined so the majority doesn't even know what holy and pure sex is.

Marring someone does not automatically make the bed holy. Ppl carry this garbage into their marriage and think the sacrament is going to sanctify it.

The fact is ppl need this trash because they can't get turned on any other way because they fried their brain cells.

It is a curse, not a blessing and in no way can any kind of Christian person rationalize these perversions because they fried their brain cells on inappropriate content and other sick-o things.

I am sorry if I offended any of you. I notice many of you pointed out that such activities would amount to the husband using his wife for lust. that is not what I am advocating. It could only be ok if both husband and wife wanted to try it. I am not saying that S&M is good, but it might be morally neutral, and thus in the catogory of Christian freedom

It's not morally neutral. Its depravity.

Would you like the scriptures?

You have been caused to stumble.

Peace.

Benny, you're an expert on, like, everything!

I wish there were a list of which mutually enjoyable activities were acceptable and holy and pure and which weren't. I'd immagine Augustine and Benedicta and Cosmic might all have very different ideas.

Check post 83. If you want a list of those things I can give you some protestant sites but as a Catholic aren't you supposed to know better?

Peace.

There's a non-answer if ever there was one....
I'm not getting into with you or ppl like you.

You are going to actually argue this point? That depravity some how can be holy or good? Then you have no idea what it is.

You need to go back the TAW and ask them or ask your spiritual father to explain to you if you really don't know.

What does this have to do with anything? You claimed to know what "holy and pure" sex is, so tell us. I'm interested in a Catholic perspective on what you can do that is "holy and pure" sex. Obviously the truth is you have no idea what you're talking about and don't want to just come clean with it.
Now, please find a single post where I said anything positive or negative about S&M.

I linked you to a site that gives you a whole document on it. I am not interested in discussing it with a person I know good and well is not looking for a honest discussion about it.
