I don't get the bible passage, but I think he means to say (and i agree) that if they enjoy it and both want it then it's not wrong.
So that's the standard?
A big part of bondage is trust, you surrender yourself to the other person and trust that they will do what is best for you.
Yeah, well once you're tied up you don't have any say.... FWIW, it sounds like you've been reading and looking at things you need to go to confession for.
As a woman, I rather agree.... it's almost like..the Bible tells us that wives should submit to their husbands, but in this case the husband is (mis)using the whole idea to fulfill his own desires..
Plus I'm sorry but I find it disgusting and it's a lot like inappropriate content eww
I agree. A lot of this is just fantasy fulfillment based on looking at inappropriate content.
Then they are both lustful fools.
It in no way can be justified.
Even if we are married we are still called to be pure and chaste. Beating each other up for sexual pleasure seriously is perverted and goes against our human diginity.
The bible says that we are to "let the marriage bed be undefiled". Some have twisted it to say that "the marriage bed is undefiled". God's intent was that we should not engage in activities that are perverted lest we defile the marriage bed.
Reps bro!
And he's only 24. Such wisdom!
The goal is mutual enjoyment for husband and wife,
Not according to Catholic teaching. Sex is a renewing of the marital sacrament and an expression of Christs relationship to the Church. I hardly think these perversions satisfy either criteria.
