The tables have turned and what was once the media’s favorite message — President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election — has now grown silent.

Apparently, it’s Bill and Hillary Clinton who’ve been doing the behind-scenes and suspicious dealings with Russia all along. Oh, and perhaps others in the Barack Obama administration, too.

Old news but by all means investigate.
Way back in April of 2015, The New York Times ran this headline: “Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal.” And among its many, many lines was this one: “As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation.”

In fact, that “flow of cash” was actually four separate flows of cash, for a total amount of $2.35 million. And, we also learned from this New York Times piece, “those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons.”

A lot of this was also uncovered a outlined by other writers, as well — John Rappoport, investigative journalist, comes to mind, as well as Peter Schweitzer, of “Clinton Cash” author fame.

But what is coming to light is what others knew, and when.

Russia tables turn, roping Clinton, Obama, Holder, not Trump

Note that it was the liberal New Times that first wrote about this back in 2015.

Grassley during the Wednesday hearing said the Clinton Foundation had received millions of dollars from "interested parties" in the uranium deal and highlighted a $500,000 payment former President Bill Clinton received for a speech in Moscow before a Russian-government-aligned bank.

The sound coming from the liberals and anti-Trumpers:
Josh Marshall: "Why is most of the legitimate press ignoring that new Hillary/Uranium story Trumpers are going crazy about? Mainly it’s the story. But it’s also the byline: John Solomon." Solomon is apparently the go-to guy to write anything at all that Republicans tell him to. So yeah, I'm waiting until there's some reason to think there's actually something to the story.

I've been waiting for there to be something to the Russian collusion story and so far...absolutely nothing. Yet it's pushed by nearly every news organization. And when there's a real lack of evidence for anything coming from the only sources that matter, they decide to make up their own phony crap to peddle to the masses to keep the story in the back of everyone's mind.

Well it looks like there might be some new investigations possibly the Clinton's may get in trouble.

Hard to say who Hillary will blame for this one?

She probably has a new book coming out to explain that one too.

We already knew that Bill had made money for speaking in Russia and knew about the donations to the Clinton Foundation, it was in the news even last year during the campaign.
The only thing that is new is that some people have decided that they need to investigate pay-for-play, which they had talked about before but hadn't done anything about it yet. So get on with the investigation.
I remember going on the Clinton Foundation website and looking at the donor's names and how much they had donated. Here it is....

If she writes enough "who done it books".
She could have her own Clinton Library.

The 2nd post in this thread, which quotes your OP, describes how the NYT wrote a large, in-depth piece about the Clinton uranium story 2.5 years ago. Here's another link if you'd like:
Opinion | Trump says the media won’t cover ‘real’ Russia story. It already did. Years ago.

So yes, we've seen it in the mainstream media.

This is an ongoing investigation, one article from the NYTimes 2 and a half years ago, doesn't really equate to Main Stream Media. If it was a closed investigation, I could agree with you, but it is not. And Trump is right, media will not cover it. You just did an excellent job of proving the President right!

Haven't we done this before?

This story hinges on the idea that Hillary (while Secretary of State) allowed a Russian corporate entity to legally purchase a Canadian corporate entity, and was paid to do so.

Here's the thing, in order for the American Secretary of State to block such a sale, they would be required to present a very strong legal argument to an international court, as this is a sale that does not directly involve the United States. Does anyone here have a really good legal argument to block it?Because so far there doesn't appear to be one.

On top of that, there were at least 4 other government agencies that had the power to step forward to block this sale (providing they had a legitimate legal reason to), and of course, none of them did either. The story repeatedly ignores this aspect. I suppose it gets in the way a bit.
