Found out about anime about 5 years ago when I dated a guy who was into it. His craze at the time was Evangelion, my first anime watched. Shortly after I started college and became a member of the anime club there. Haven't been to the club since I quit college, but still watch anime with a friend of mine, who probably has at least 250g of it himself, also a former anime club member. I'm currently watching Witch Hunter Robin. I'm not an incredible fanatic though, don't download any, own any, or have mangas or wall scrolls or posters or any of that. I'm not into rpg's either, although my friend is a DM, so I'm still somewhat familiar with it.
