Justice Department sues Trump ally Roger Stone, alleging millions in unpaid taxes

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department on Friday sued Roger Stone, a longtime ally of former President Donald Trump, accusing Stone and his wife, Nydia, of owing nearly $2 million in unpaid federal income taxes and fees.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, says the couple underpaid their income taxes by $1,590,361 from 2007 to 2011. It further says Stone, 68, did not pay his full tax bill in 2018, coming up $407,036 short. The couple, the suit alleges, used a commercial entity to "shield their personal income from enforced collection and fund a lavish lifestyle despite owing nearly $2 million in unpaid taxes, interest and penalties."

And the IRS' position on this?

Roger Stone, longtime Trump confident, convicted felon and apparently the "deserving" recipient of a "presidential pardon" flashing the "white power" symbol with members of "The Proud Boys!"

Apparently the "fine print" on Stone's presidential pardon failed to provide him exemption from "tax fraud!"

You realize that it also stands for 'OK'......which has been around far longer than the pitiful 'white power' explantion?

And the IRS' position on this?

the Stones entered into an installment agreement with the IRS in 2017 that required them to pay $19,485 per month toward their unpaid tax bill.

"That my wife and I owe a significant amount in federal taxes has been a matter of public record for several years. This is not news," Stone said in a text to CBS News.

This suit is alleging that they used a shell company to disguise their income, and then defaulted on their installment payments to the IRS.

Stone openly admits he owes We The People a lot of money.

Roger Stone, convicted felon, owes $2,000,000 dollars and has defaulted on his agreement to repay.

He has been a fixer for the Republicans for years and the man who first thought that Trump should be president, so there is some lack of judgment as well as criminality.

Perhaps the Republican Party can fix it for him this time round. Maybe his good old friend Trump could fix it from his billions, if he still has them. Or maybe not...
