Sure, when the USSC overturns a 50 year old decision, people are going to protest.

230 SCOTUS precedents have been overturned, every justice in the last 50 years has voted to overturn at least one.

Or maybe you think they are infallible?

The same people upset that Trump questioned the legitimacy of the election are now questioning the legitimacy of the SCOTUS, crazy.
This seems to presume that the evidence for both is similar. That's obviously not the case.

AOC said we need to take to the streets, Maxine Waters said "To hell with the SCOTUS" and "We will defy them."

Isn't that insurrection?

No, that is free speech. The mob violence of January 6 is insurrection.

Persuasion left the building a long time ago. That's not what protesting is about. You can't reason people out of a position they were not reasoned into. Appeals to civil discourse are just insincere in light of that.

Protesting is part of finding ones own power, for oneself and others.

Is this your argument for the right of protesters of January 6th as well?

The SCOTUS is a Co-equal branch of government, same as Congress. Attempting to overthrow the legitimacy of the SCOTUS is no more noble than the claims of some people that conservatives were trying to overthrow Congress.

Is the latest life-denier violence in Portland free speech?

No it wasn't.

Violently attacking the Capitol with the intent of killing the members of Congress and the Vice President isn't insurrection? I won't discuss this with you any further.

Wise move.

The only one killed that day was a women vet, whose family is currently suing the cop who murdered here.

They weren't protestors, they were insurrectionists and many have been treated as such and are spending time in prison.

Use whatever label you like, but they were protesters.
