"They don't think in racial terms"? Yeahhh...that must be why Saudis, Emiratis, etc. are so famous for treating their Indian, Filipino, and East African guest workers (slaves) with such kindness...

Show me a country that does treat its guest workers well.

The Netherlands, for one. From the NY Times article at the link:

The inducements offered to these workers are considerably more generous than those that once lured Turkish workers to Germany, or that still attract Mexicans to the United States.

Construction workers in the Netherlands are typically promised after-tax income of about $1,200 a month. They receive free housing -- usually sharing an apartment or house with four or five other workers -- and about $20 more a day for incidental needs. They are also entitled to health insurance, sick pay and most other social benefits that are standard in most European countries.

What do workers in Saudi get? Rape, confinement, denial of salaries, and trials with potential death sentences for "witchcraft", according to a Human Rights Watch report from 2013:

Some 1.5 million migrant domestic workers remain excluded from the 2005 Labor Law. In years past, Asian embassies reported thousands of complaints from domestic workers forced to work 15 to 20 hours a day, seven days a week, and denied their salaries. Domestic workers, most of them women, frequently endure forced confinement, food deprivation, and severe psychological, physical, and sexual abuse.

In 2011 and 2012, the rampant abuse led the Philippines, Indonesia, Nepal, and Kenya to impose restrictions on their citizens from migrating to Saudi Arabia for domestic work. In October 2012, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia approved resuming migration after agreeing upon a US$400 minimum wage but few other rights.

In April, Saudi Arabia pardoned 22 Indonesian domestic workers on death row. Many migrant domestic workers still face the death penalty, often after having limited access to legal advice and translators during court proceedings. These include 32 Indonesian domestic workers whose convictions include witchcraft and “sexual offenses,” and Rizana Nafeek, a Sri Lankan domestic worker who was under 18 years old when a baby died in her care.

If that was all they got, do you think they would still be coming?

Mexican women risk being raped by Coyotes, murdered, sold into sexual slavery, get turned into drug mules, etc. every day just to get into America and provide for their families knowing full well it's only slightly better than America and is really just 21st century slavery or at best indentured servitude. So why not?

More over, ship wrecked men dying of thirst will still eventually turn to sea water knowing it will only increase their insanity and hasten their deaths; all for the hope that their thirst might be slaked and that it might help.

Hope will make a great many do many things

Theocratic Islam and Russa VS free democratic Christians and their Muslim friends. The video they do not want you to see.

Would that it was a simple as that. While Russia is indiscriminately attacking all opposition to Assad including the Free Syrian Army, Assad hardly represents a theocracy. And historically speaking Christians in both Iraq and Syria have supported Assad and Sadam. The Baath Party, after all, was founded by Christians and for all its faults, has been the primary secular party.

The Ba'ath party is a pseudo-Socialist, secular, Pan-Arab party; it can be in no way compared to Islamism or Theocracy. The FSA is an Islamist group, we've discussed that before that's why Russia is targeting them too. It's really that simple.

What happened in Libya? What happened in Egypt? Tunisia?

Stray, I see your another american fanboy. What about the terrorism inflicted by the people you vote into office?
Those same elected politicians that fund NATO which has destabilized the middleeast by illegally bombing sovereign nations? Those same elected officials that has funded Al Nusra by providing them with toyota pick up trucks. Those same elected officials that has given the CIA the green light to train and fund the FSA "Division 30" who then defected to Al Quaeda a month ago. Democratically elected countries of the west alone have proliferated the region with heavy duty weaponry as they hand every single side with weapons. Yet the democratically elected terrorists of the west are now in shock they they have created a refugee crisis in their nations!

Another example of phrasing a sarcastic challenging debate tone in the form of a question. Shrewd, but transparent. Come on.

No. I assume that if someone is asserting something, there are facts or a powerful personal witness behind it.

We can do this all day, but to those whose minds are made up that Assad is the worst of the worst, no amount of evidence to the contrary will matter.

I noticed you said the US funded Al Nusra by providing them with Toyota trucks. Would you provide credible evidence of this, so that I know you aren't crazy?

From 2014:
.."The fact is the Toyotas were supplied by the US government to the Al Nusra Front as ‘non-lethal aid’ then ‘acquired’ by ISIS. The human and military damage they will do is, alas, all too predictable (and so ironic that a truck designated an RV – ‘recreational vehicle’ – now finds its ultimate application in berserk rampages rather than fishing trips). "Four-wheel-drives are to ISIS what longbows were to the English at Agincourt - Spectator Blogs
Again from 2014: ISIS Army Parades in 43 New Toyota Hilux Trucks - Donated By US Taxpayers - The Gateway Pundit

Now here we are in October 2015 and the U.S. government wants to open an investigation. According to the Iraqi Ambassador to the United States, he speculates they are currently being supplied to ISIS by our allies- the Saudis (and Qataris):

"This is a question we’ve been asking our neighbors,” said Lukman Faily, the Iraqi Ambassador to the United States. “How could these brand new trucks — these four-wheel drives, hundreds of them — where are they coming from?”Toyota, U.S. unsure how ISIS got brand new pickup trucks - NY Daily News

According to an article just put up on Ron Paul's website, this investIgation is a complete charade and these trucks have been coming from Britain and the US as part of the original 2013 aid: The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity : The Mystery of ISIS’ Toyota Army Solved

Theres more. Here is an article from a few weeks ago Oct 2, 2015:

"The American-made TOW antitank missiles began arriving in the region in 2013, through a covert program run by the United States, Saudi Arabia and other allies to help certain C.I.A.-vetted insurgent groups battle the Syrian government."
U.S. Weaponry Is Turning Syria Into Proxy War With Russia - The New York Times
Here is the Washington Post article from 2014 reporting on the initial delivery of this Tow antitank missiles:
Al-Qaeda faction in Syria claims to have U.S.-supplied anti-tank weapon - The Washington Post

Now as for my personal opinion, I smell british intelligience planning all over this one:Toyota Hilux utes stolen from Sydney 'are the preferred armoured vehicles' for ISIS fighters | Daily Mail Online
"Global terror expert Professor Greg Barton believes the four-wheel-drive prestige models are being exported to Turkey via shipping containers and then driven across the border to Syria."

So, what Syrians in Australia that you have met is somehow evidence against the atrocities documented about Assad?
Documented by who? The same people perhaps who documented Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction? The same ones who demonised the Serbians in Kosovo. Given how little truth there was to those other reports, why should I trust these over the testimonies of Christians from Syria?

Umm Stray, read my previous posts and links. But just in case you want mainstream media sources aligned with your government's propaganda here is from 2013:
CIA begins weapons delivery to Syrian rebels - The Washington Post
CIA-funded weapons begin to reach Syrian rebels - CNNPolitics.com
Kerry says U.S. will expedite new aid to Syrian opposition - The Washington Post

Specifically read the CNN article from 2013. The FSA never recieved the anti-tank weapons because the moderates were the al nusra front in 2013. Now dont try to pull that patriotic crap with USA=good, Everyone else=bad, and tell me how America always knows who the moderates are, like they have been telling us the past 2 weeks but screwing it up for the past 4 years.

Oh and just in case you dont think the psychopaths in the State Department play both sides of the coin. Here is Lebanons military aid earlier this year to combat the 'jihadists"(the moderates) that go off the reservation and orchestrate attacks on Lebanon:
