The displaying of Trump's golden statue at the CPAC has drawn the inevitable biblical comparisons much to the amusement of many.
I am not American so I obviously don't vote in American elections, but if I did I would have serious reservations about a party that promotes itself by displaying something that takes the word "tacky" to a whole new level.
It will be interesting to hear what their "messiah" has to say about it when he comes down from the mountain later today to address his followers.
I would also be interested to hear the reaction to the statue from the Republican supporters here on CF, or indeed non-Republican supporters.

The statue is a mildly amusing gimmick of the kind that often appear in political gatherings, but am I not surprised at how you (and others) seized on the opportunity to rage on and on about nothing.

I can't think of a single way in which Trump has lived his life in a way that would be remotely Biblical. But...you know....I've actually read the book I claim for my religion, so...
