Hmmm... I wondered when Democrats where going to start turning on each other. I know, once the primary gets under way later this year, the candidates are going to start the mud-slinging fast and furious.

I pretty much know Omar is an anti-Semite. I just didn't think she'd do that. I wonder how Pelosi is going to respond to this one. She just went after the biggest fish in the pond for Democrats.

I get the idea that she thinks her position is permanent and no one has ever explained to her that she'll soon have to run for reelection.

Among far left activists, Obama isn’t as beloved as he used to be. As time goes on, the far left types seem to be regarding him as kind of like Eisenhower: wind him up and watch him do nothing for eight years. I think that sells Obama short but that seems to me how they’re starting to remember him.

She's not an anti-Semite as far as I can tell. Do you have some evidence to support this claim besides your disapproval of her criticism of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and US policy towards Israel or the state of Israel's policies?

I think even democrats know that everything President Obama did during his presidency wasn't all rainbows and unicorns. Obama was terrible about immigration and about drone strikes.

She's correct on calling Obama out on it just like she was correct on calling out AIPAC. So far her comments have been pretty spot on and I think it's great that there is someone as courageous as Ilhan Omar in congress who is willing to challenge the status quo in Washington. I only wish that there were more people in congress like her.

He was, after all, moderate; his stand on immigration earned him the title of "deporter in chief" from some extreme leftists. He was disliked by them almost as much as the white nationalists detested him. Only one group of people love him:

In a survey by the Pew Research Center, 44% named Obama the best or second-best president of their lifetimes, followed by 33% who named Bill Clinton and 32% who named Ronald Reagan.

The three most effective leaders in our times. Extreme leftists weren't so fond of Clinton, either. It's notable that that the extreme right also detested two of them, and considers Reagan to be a "RINO."

I was a fan of Obama for his basic decency and political realism, very much inline with mainline Protestant values. On the other hand, some of the far left never really liked him, but hoped at least they had his ear. Now that he's gone, they feel free to criticize him.

Yeah, how dare Omar think for herself and have a mind and opinions of her own. I assume she's expected to fall in line and behave like the other side of the political spectrum where it's an echo chamber and everyone within that echo chamber does their usual 'yes man' to Donald Trump and their ad nauseam defense of him no matter what foul and unchristian things he says or does.

The Republicans will never have to confront the problems associated with racial diversity in their Party because all one need do is to look at its congressional politicians - wealthy - elderly - white - male!
