When I was little, umpteen years ago they had this candy that a grandmother brought when she came to visit. It looked like gray rocks, different sizes. Seems like it chewed like jelly beans. Never saw them in my life time accept when she brought them.

I remember penny wheel cookies. There was a little sweet shop near our church that sold them. I have not seen them in a very long time. I wonder if they are made anymore.

Try googling them. That's how I found the peanuts interesting when something that is very popular fades away. I've never heard of penny wheel cookies?

Black licorice is getting really hard to find. It might be on its way out. I had to quit eating it when I found out it was the sweetest candy you can buy.

I've not found anyone that remembers this.
A toy.
A metal open cap, 2, one smaller then the other. Put a gun cap into the bottom of the larger metal cap and place the smaller metal cap into and on top of the cap and metal cap. The smaller cap is filled with resin with a feather sticking out of it.
Both caps are now together with a pistol cap in between them. Grab the feather and sling it into the air, outside. When it comes down and hits the cement it explodes and the part with the feather flies into the air never to be found, unfortunately. Sorry I couldn't explain it better. Boy did I love that toy!!!!

I hope they are. I have a cap gun and I think caps but they've been in the closet for years. Humidity and all the caps are probably no good.

You all are reminding me of Avon Charisma. I think Avon has (had?) the best fragrances. They make a statement without being overpowering.
