Rejoicing Always in Him

The fact that God and the entire company of heaven rejoices over a sinner who turns to Him shows the sheer vastness of the love that the Lord has for each and every one of us.

Our Lord's love for us is not superficial, distant, or detached. His love is long-suffering, compassionate and sacrificial, full of generosity and grace. It is no wonder the scriptures speak of God as rejoicing over us with singing.

A parent holding their child looks upon him or her with eyes of love and with complete joy - always full of tenderness, affection and care. And it is the same with God - our perfect heavenly Father.
