We have sun at present - hopefully it will dry things out - well I can hope can't I ?

Ive a lot of lying water in my garden - it would be nice if those puddles dried before the temp drops

I'll be out of here early tomorrow - we have Liturgy at 8am !

Well - eating my tea and enjoying a glass of a nice Pinot Noir

Ground seems to have dried out where it could - there's still plenty of older frozen and crunched up white stuff in places.

By the looks of things I should be on my way home from Church before the nasty descends again

Good morning everyone.

Very wet here. Torrential rain outbursts.

There's no sign of it letting up either.

at least with rain you know where you are - WET

Just back - roads were OK, driving over - pavements on the other hand

By the time I was coming back pavements in the city were still pretty grim and over where I am they have been manually sanded - very recently too by the looks of them.

Back in the house at 10.00 - nice Liturgy and reasonably well attended too - we had 11 there

Grrr - that's the snow started

Glad I'm home - this looks as if it may well settle

Snow has now stopped and starting to thaw [ very slowly] - sooner the better as far as I'm concerned. Yes I've the right vehicle for this - but I don't see the sense in taking her out if I can avoid it

the roads and pavements here appear clear , all yesterday's dump in my garden has also vanished and the rest is starting to go

That is good news.

My sister has advised I stay home today as my chest cough has a nasty sound to it. Probably better be safe than sorry.

Weather appears to be very great and damp...

I think your sister is very wise - best stay warm and dry and away from other folks 'bugs' - you have enough of your own to be dealing with

Well - most of the white stuff has vanished here - I'll be OK tomorrow when I leave at my usual Tuesday 8am

Well that's a HUGE amount of proofreading done today - we are into the busy season for that again .

I think it's 2 Docs totalling about 75 pages today - one set need a lot of corrections
