It's strange - we keep having snow flurries - it lies for a few mins and then starts to thaw. Sky is very snowy.

I've been told by someone, who has a class to give in the Uni at 10 , that the roads - about 5 mins away from me are very bad

We had our first snow shower of 2018 at lunchtime but didn't lodge...

It's really weird here - my garden is covered at present [ and will stay that way as rain is forecast for tomorrow ] but I am managing to get the gates open so will just keep making sure they can be opened.

We are having either sleety snow/rain or big flakes and they can be heavy snow showers.

Yes, that is weird, when it happens... I've seen thundersnow, a couple of times.

never seen it before - and it was vaguely forecast as a possibility - but no area of the UK mentioned

Well - finally removed all the snow so I could have a path to my gates , and more importantly get the gates open. That took 30 mins .

I've just looked out - and guess what - the gates are open - but there's been more snow down . I'll see how it is in the morning

Well - morning all !

Snow is still there but all the forecasts I've seen so far this morning say we should be getting rain during the morning lasting all day.

I suspect it's going to be a 'wait and see'

just dug a path to the gate again so I could get my bin out !!

Rain ?? I'd call what is coming down gently at presently sleety rain/snow !!

I made it in to work in one piece thankfully. No snow lodged along the coast. But we have a snowy scene of the mountains...

the white stuff on my fence is now thawing and it's dripping off !

If the puddles that haven't dried up fill up and freeze - this will be nasty
