It's grey and misty over here which means the bitter cold has gone for now.

It would gave been my mum's birthday tomorrow so my sister is hosting a family breakfast this morning ..

I can well imagine - and I'm sure that you have learned a lot about your Mum that you didn't realise - we all have our own memories - and sometimes sharing them can lead to some unknown facts/stories etc emerging.

Sharing memories is GOOD

It was lovely for my older siblings and myself. As well as the grandkids.

I'm sure it was - and it helps to keep things in your own memories - after all you all knew her for so much longer than the grandkids - but they need to know about her so they can keep those memories
