8 weeks. Wow.
In the past, I've been able to tackle all the chores around here.That’s what drives me crazy. Looking at the things that need to be done.
Yeah don’t overdo it. You should hire someone if you can. Does no good to be in recovery and injure yourself again!In the past, I've been able to tackle all the chores around here.
But if this goes on much longer, I'm going to need to think about hiring a handyman to help with things.
As easily as I incurred this recent injury, I don't want to get well ... only to do too much and injure myself again!
I knew the time would come, with age, that I'd need to start hiring help. And I'd need to start downsizing my lifestyle, in general, too. I just didn't expect it to happen so soon! But God is taking this 'downtime' now, to make some priorities very clear to me.
May St. Benedict and St. Marina intercede for you!The surgery is done. I’ll have other procedures to get done but at least this one is finished. I’m bleeding a lot but I just have to keep an eye on that for clots incase I need to go to ER. I’ll have a post op appointment in June with x-rays to see how the kidneys are recovering. Hopefully they are. Thank you all for the prayers. They are deeply appreciated. I’m going to take a nap. Thanks again!
