Still waiting to see a specialist to see me, been waiting 4 months now
My husband isn't so well either
But we also have to look after my mum, but we risk her catching it as well

Up and tested and now having my coffee . At some point the men will arrive to deal with my electrical connection - I do hope everything goes according to plan.

My first day was a little manic. Getting IT stuff sorted, signing paperwork and meeting new colleagues etc. But they left a good first impression...

Up and tested and now caffeinating. Another cold day - hopefully it will be dry. I could do with going out and getting a few things in , but I've still got roadworks all round me and still have the traffic lights at my gate !! Fortunately the guy to change the electricity supply had no problem - took him about 5 mins to do it so all is well now

I was helping out at a patient engagement forum this morning in a Dublin hotel. Very informative and highlighted the huge gaps in our Health system...

Was running a bit short of some stuff so decided to get Tesco to do a delivery of heavy stuff - They can wrestle with the road situation better than me

Discovered that they have lowered the minimum order cost AND I've managed to get a cheap [ really cheap] delivery slot for




Tomorrow afternoon !!!

Till now have always had to wait for about 2 weeks for a cheap delivery slot .

Me very very content with this

I"m still stuck in the house as the roads are still in chaos here - it's worse for me since this is a corner house so I have these dratted yellow cones and white barriers in front of the 2 houses on my side and 3 houses on the other side of the road. There's only room for 1 car at a time to pass as they have had to make it a single lane whilst working on the electricity supply.
Round the corner by my big gates , there are traffic lights , more cones on both sides of the road so cars can and do get stopped at my gate since again there's single line working so it is very difficult to get out of my 'garden/car park'.

Oh I will be glad when all this is finally over

After a horrific knife attack yesterday afternoon where 3 children were stabbed by a male attacker there was large disturbances in the city centre with buses, trams and police vehicles set alight...

Certainly from what we saw on the News etc , yesterday seems to have been very nasty for you Dubliners. I have lovely memories of Dublin being a warm, welcoming city with very friendly citizens from my visits there.

Sadly , I think it's going to be some time till you all recover -- things like this tend to haunt you for some considerable time

It's just been announced on the 1pm News now, that the Gardai have made 34 arrests as a result of yesterday's disturbances
