So I've been reading alot on the controversy,and I see that chalcedon was mostly political and it seemed to depose people on illegal grounds,and also seemed to support a crypto-nestorian Christology?
since the 80s the OO and EO have come to a conclusion that we are both orthodox(save some people on mount athos who insist we are monophysites),the question then is why don't we accept chalcedon?is it because they contradicted ephesus?are there any materials I can read from a OO perspective on why we continue to deny and won't accept chalcedon ?I've even come across some threads on Tasbeha that say chalcedon is actually heretical?how true is this?
