When were the pyramids built? Was it before or after the flood?

The Egyptian pyramids were constructed between 4700 YBP and 2700 YBP. The hypothetical flood of Noah was about 4300 YBP. So, some before and some after. The pyramids at Giza are among the oldest.

The year for the Great Flood is based on many weak assumptions.
Analysis of evidence for a flood event is based on assumptions
that the flood was completely natural. Scripture says it was not
a natural event so looking for "natural" evidence is futile for
examining a supernatural event.

After. The tower of Babel (built not that long AFTER the flood) was the first ziggurat structure to be built, and ziggurats were the precursors of the Egyptian pyramids.

If the flood had no physical affect on the planet, then how would it have an affect on people of the world? The flood must have had a physical affect on the planet.

The flood, allegedly covered the highest mountains, and it was of water, hence noahs boat.

Water leaves physical evidence for its presence. Floods leave flood deposits.

Little-Goose-Dam-Deposit.jpg

But there are no global flood deposits or deposits of any epic flood that covered the highest mountains.

And the physical evidence for such a flood is even weaker.

Regarding the flood I kind of like the answer...
We have facts, and then we have interpretations of the facts. Near the top of Everest there are millions of sea shells. That's a fact.
You can believe that it was from the flood of Noah's day, or you can believe it was a local flood thousands of years before, or millions of years before. They are just theories (or 'religious' views).

The pyramids are there, that is a fact.
You can believe they were built after the world wide flood of Noah's day, or you can believe they were build a few thousand years before that. But they are both just theories (or 'religious' views).

I have evidence of the great flood here in my home!

There is a tide mark on the bath, about 2 inches from the top!

When you bathe only two or three times a year, it is inevitable that you leave a ring.;)

Natural floods do.
Jesus could calm storms and even walked on water.
Unless temperatures are really low, water doesn't support people.
People sink.
Exact same argument.
Miracles don't happen becasue we can't make them happen for us on demand.

You cant just assume everything is a miracle, just because you interpret it to be so in scripture.

Well I guess you can assume anything you want. You could assume that the moon is made of swiss cheese. But you should not be surprised that some other Christians might not agree.

But i guess its ok in the end. It isnt a big deal, i dont think, if we necessarily are divided on whether or not it was a global flood. It is what it is, I guess.

The current belief based on google satellite photos is that the Garden of Eden is under the Persian Gulf in an area that is known for it's natural Pearls. West of Dubai - Straits of Hormuz.

I read the Bible as saying it was worldwide
What chapter and verse did you read that in? I read that Adamah or the land of Adam was flooded. The Tigris - Euphrates river valley between the rivers. What is now referred to as Ancient Mesopotamia.

According to AiG, the flood was in 2348 BC.

The oldest pyramid (Djoser) is normally dated to 2630 (about 300 years before the flood). Pyramid-building lasted for about 1,000 years.

There may be several grains of truth to the flood mythology of Noah and similar mythologies from elsewhere in the ancient Middle East. About 25 years ago it was discovered (" Noah's Flood" by Ryan and Pitman) that in antiquity the Black Sea was a freshwater lake with a water level at least 155 meters (510 feet) below its present level. It was cut off from the Mediterranean Sea by a silt plug in the Straits of Bosporus. This plug broke through about 5600 BC due primarily to the dramatic rise in sea levels caused by the melting that ended the last ice age.. It created an immense waterfall whose sound was most likely audible for 100 or more miles. The Black Sea basin filled to its present level over a period of several weeks. It is estimated that the shore line advanced at the rate of a mile or more per day. For the people living around the lake it was a catastrophe of immense magnitude. It was likely the single most memorable flood in all of human history. The racial memory of this event probably inspired the Gilgamesh epic which in turn inspired the Noah narrative in the Bible. The evidence for this flood is scientifically solid. This prompted the National Geographic Society to finance an underwater search along the ancient shoreline for evidence of pre-flood human habitation. This search has been successful! A settlement has been found at a depth of 90 meters approximately 12 miles off the coast of Turkey. It is in a remarkable state of preservation because it is located in an area of the Black Sea where the water is completely devoid of oxygen with the effect that biological decomposition does not take place. This means that wooden artifacts such as tools, planks, housing beams etc are preserved intact. What is also quite amazing is that while there is solid scientific evidence for this local flood some 7600 YBP, there is no evidence at all for a worldwide flood just 4300 YBP. One would think that a more recent, more catastrophic event would have wiped out evidence of the earlier Black Sea event. There is also evidence for a similar event causing the flooding of the Gulf of Arabia about 10,000 YBP.

After the Flood, since the Egyptians came from Mizraim, who was Noah's grandson.

Genesis 10:6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

Note too that Egypt is referred to as:

Psalm 105:23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
