There are seven feasts; four in the spring and three in the fall. God gave these feasts, the set feasts or appointed seasons of the Lord to teach us about Christ’s ministry. Christ would come twice, as faithful as the rain in the spring and then later again the rain in the fall; once in the spring and once in the fall. The harvest that Christ is looking forward to is us, from the seeds he planted in our hearts, to the full mature plant bearing fruit of the Spirit.
Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Yeshua fulfilled the four spring festivals when He came the first time. The four spring time feasts that He fulfilled are the Passover, the Feast of Unleaven Bread, the Wave Sheaf or First Fruits and the Feasts of Weeks or Pentecost. Let us take a look at these four feasts as see some of the things that the Lord did to fulfill them.Joel 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
