To avoid confusion it probably shouldn't be called "country" music here. I heard no mention of cerveza.
Cerveza is the Spanish word for beer and the mention of beer isn't necessary in Puerto Rican Country music nor any other Spanish music that I know of. Where did you get that idea? Actually, the genre is called aguinaldos and are usually played and sung during the Christmas season. The stringed instrument is the national instrument of Puerto Rico. It is called a Cuatro. It has five pairs of strings tuned identically to each other. It produces great volume for such a small instrument. Will completely drown out an acoustic guitar unless the guitar uses an amplifier.
