Hello, I was just wondering, what do you guys think is the best publishing stile? like self publishing or getting a publisher? and if a publisher any good recommendations? I'm in the proses of writing my first novel and want to get some info on what to expect.

I'm looking into one but the cost is really high. It may be affordable but I can't decide. Being an author I think is a responsibility too.

If you truly want to go the independent route, you can go with createspace I published both of my books with them. The biggest cost you may face is having someone edit your work and getting a nice cover done.

If you want to be profitable, self-publish. If you want to be famous, utilize a well-known publisher.

I self-published electronic-only on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble. When my novel was first released, I was netting about $3000 - $4000 a month even though my book was also available for free on a blog.
